Before we get into any pesky little things like ARC giveaways, let’s take a minute to deal with the important things. Like how mother-effing hot this cover is.

Seriously, Jaci Burton has the most amazing covers. Even if you don’t want to read the series (and that’s just silly, because they’re awesome) they’re worth buying for the covers alone.

Alright then, moving on…

We have FIVE (5) ARCs of One Sweet Ride to give away.

Gray Preston was born into money, but he’s built his racing empire on hard work and muscle. And now that Gray has millions of fans, his senator father sends one of his aides, Evelyn Hill, to elicit Gray’s help in garnering votes for the upcoming national election. Gray wants nothing to do with his estranged father’s campaign, but Evelyn can be pretty persuasive. She’s willing to learn about racing, and maybe even get a little dirty.

Evelyn’s number-one goal is politics, which makes working with Gray difficult, because his only passion is fast cars. As she and Gray spend time together, he teaches her about the sport he loves, and she learns a lot about the man behind the wheel. The more she learns, the more she wants him. But any desire that threatens to derail the carefully laid plans for her future is a dangerous one.

With the passion Gray and Evelyn share running hotter than either imagined, one of them is going to have to compromise, or else run the risk of losing more than their hearts.

Burton’s entire Play-by-Play series is great, though I admit I have a weakness for professional athletes. What do you think about them?     This is one of my favorite series! I have a thing for pro athletes too! My favorite has got to be Elizabeth and Gavin Riley’s story from Jaci’s Changing the Game 🙂 I’m thrilled for One Sweet Ride!:)

    I have never really been a fan of athletes as the hero in my romance but sometimes you get a great series with some great characters, like the Chicago Stars books by Susan Elizabeth Phillips or like this series. Each one has been a treat.

    Jaci’s Men are FREAKING HOT!!! I end up reading these books over and over again. I live in DC so I always end up picturing Bryce Harper whenever she talks about baseball players.

    I can’t wait for Gray’s book, I’ve never read about Nascar and i’m excited!

    I love the “Play-by-Play” series. I think they are the few books I give a five star rating to. Lori Foster never fails to create genuine characters with personalities you either love or not, but her alphas are so hot LOL Anyway, I count the days till One Sweet Ride is out.

    I got a cover flat for the very first book in the series and laminated it so it would always be beautiful and I could lick it whenever I wanted to…lol

    there was an older (not that old) series by jill shalvis (i forgot the name of the series but they’re in a baseball team) that introduced me to athletes and i’ve loved professional athletes in my romances since.

    I have the same problem… I have a hard time keeping my Kindle free of drool whenever a new Play-by-Play novel comes out. Seriously… I want to touch those abs! I love me some professional athletes in my romances– they’ve got just the right combination of alpha-ness and insecurity (from the pressure to always perform). And, well, those crazy fit physiques :).

    I’ve read a lot of romances with athlete heroes. I enjoy them as long as not too much of the story talks about sports. Jaci has definitely been blessed with great covers recently.
