My absolute favorite book of the month was Storm Echo (Psy-Changeling Trinity #6; Psy-Changeling #21) by Nalini Singh. My least favorite book(s) were the Blood of the Drakon books by NJ Walters. In most of the books, the characters fall in love in less than 24 hours. I really had a hard time with that.

You two have really read a lot this month!
Some of my favorites this month ~
The Foul Mouth and the Fanged Lady by Richard Raley
Thank You for Listening by Julia Whelan
Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn
Disappointing ~
The Evasion-English Dictionary by Maggie Balistreri.
You both did amazing with reading in October!!! Happy Movember!
I read 15 books in October. My two favorites were Maisey Yates’s LAST CHANCE REBEL (published in 2016) and Eris Adderly’s BASS-ACKWARDS (published in 2019). Both of them went on my list of favorite reads of 2022. My least favorite book was Eve Dangerfield’s VELVET CRUELTY which was a dark romance that had absolutely none of Dangerfield’s usual heat, heart, and humor. A big disappointment.
My favorite book of the month was Snowed in for Christmas by Sarah Morgan. I didn’t have a least favorite, but I didn’t enjoy Killers of a Certain Age as much as others have.
I liked Storm Echo, Killers of a Certain Age, and Lost Track by Heidi Hutchinson.
I had trouble with Abigail Owen’s Warrior King but that was probably because I couldn’t get used to the narrator’s voice in the audiobook.
I didn’t love the Abigail Owen on audio, but I did love Warrior King when I read it.
I read a lot of excellent books last month: Dianne Duvall’s The Akseli; Stefanie London’s The Dachshund Wore Prada; and Meghan Quinn’s The Runaway Groomsman were the top non historicals. I also enjoyed Kait Nolan’s Hung up on the Hacker.
The top historicals were: Shana Galen’s Lady and the Scamp; Lorena Bell’s Duke Most Wicked; and Vanessa Kelly’s The Highlander’s Holiday Bride – I really appreciated having deaf characters and the use of sign language as a main part of the storyline.
The biggest disappointment was with the 2 historical anthologies – some of the stories just weren’t even worth the time to read part of. (I always hope things will get better.)
worst book: Switch by Adriana Locke
The Rules of Magic by Alice Hoffman was interesting
