The “unparalleled romantic adventure”* of Nalini Singh’s New York Times bestselling series continues as a new dawn begins for the Psy-Changeling world...

The Psy-Changeling world has undergone a staggering transformation and now stands at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: Old enemies. New allies. Wary loners.

But a century of distrust and suspicion can’t be so easily forgotten and threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows and a kidnapped woman’s cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: A child who is both Psy…and changeling.

To find the lost, protect the vulnerable—and save Trinity—no one can stand alone. This is a time of loyalty across divisions, of bonds woven into the heart and the soul, of heroes known and unknown standing back to back and holding the line. But is an allegiance of honor even possible with traitors lurking in their midst?

I’m at the end of the Psy/Changelings road with this book. I’m all caught up and now I have to wait for the next book patiently like everyone else.

ugly cries

Allegiance of Honor is the 15th book in the Psy/Changelings series and it’s a book that doesn’t really cover one couple’s romance. It’s kind of a catch up on everyone that we’ve come to know and love so far in the series and I find that I really enjoyed the bits and pieces we got to see of everyone in this book. I was a little bummed that we didn’t get more Max and Sophie but for the most part, we got a great glimpse into everyone’s happily ever after and it was great fun for me.

Silence has fallen and the Psy world is trying to find its footing in this new world. They’re navigating a world that a lot of them are too young to have any experience with and while the promise is there, it’s not without its fair share of ups and downs. Alliances are being formed but are still on very shaky ground and there’s a bad guy trying to pin each race against each other so everyone is constantly on guard against possible threats to their people.

There’s a few things at play in this book. There’s the attempted abduction of Naya Hunter, the first half Psy, half Changeling daughter of Lucas and Sasha Hunter. There’s also the continued efforts of everyone trying to find the missing water changeling from BlackSea, there’s the Consortium still at play and a bunch of other things that Singh does a wonderful job of blending together to make a cohesive story.

This book is a celebration of the couples we’ve come to love throughout this series and it’s a book of hope for the future of this series. You can see the races trying to build up relationships, relationships that will stick and you see the celebration of life and of how far the three races have come in 14 books. It’s a bright and brave new world out there and the possibilities are endless and I’m very much looking forward to where the next part in this series takes us. I have loved seeing the heart that is so deep and a part of the Changeling way of life being spread out to the Psy race and I am loving the direction that Aden and the other Arrows are trying to lead their young into. It’s a future bright with hope and love and I love that they are starting to see that they are capable of so much more than what they were taught in the past.

I loved seeing the additions to the SnowDancer and DarkRiver packs. I loved seeing everyone come together for a happy occasion and not war and blood. There’s a lot of stuff to look forward to in the next part of this series and I cannot freaking wait to jump in.
