WTFcoversaturday

This cover comes to us courtesy of JenB. She occasionally texts me things like this, just for fun. I’m pretty sure she secretly hates me.

Confession: the baby covers almost always freak me out. They’re just so effing creepy! I know they’re waiting until I fall asleep to come alive and bite me with their sharp little baby teeth… shudder

But aside from that, the title and blurb for this book are also full of WTF!

Bella Dane gave birth to twins whilst married to the cruel and heartless Albert Dane. Albert was adamant that he never wanted children, so when she is convalescing from the birth he takes one of the babies to an orphanage without Bella knowing. There he meets a desperate childless couple and sells them the baby. Devastated by the loss of one of her babies, Bella’s life takes a further cruel twist when Albert dies suddenly, leaving her poverty-stricken. Bella must find a way to provide for her baby and keep searching for the baby so cruelly snatched from her. Bella begins to write to cowboy Clayton Rock, widower, caring for a young baby of his own in the hope to become his new bride. When Bella arrives at her location and meets Clayton Rock she encounters a shocking discovery. Bella has to make a difficult decision, can she trust this man she is supposed to marry? Will he be the answer to her peril? And can she ever be reunited with her lost baby to bring together her beautiful twin babies?

So..wait. She marries a cruel and heartless man and gives birth to twins, but he sells one and not the other because..reasons? Then she decides to write to a cowboy because becoming a mail-order bride seems like a good idea when your man dies and one of your babies has been sold?

That…seems legit.

Seriously. WTAF?

It’s currently a free download. Who wants to take this bad boy on? Come on, I know you want to…
