Even secondary characters need a life…and eventually their own book.
FBI agent Sam Turner and bakery owner Elizabeth Hamilton take center stage in Lucky Like Us – Book 2: The Hunted Series, but we also meet some other great guys. Elizabeth’s brothers, Patrick and Daniel, are successful lawyers. Young and single, neither is looking to settle down any time soon. The Hamilton name and wealth don’t exactly make it easy to meet women without them having a few preconceived ideas, or an agenda. Right now, their only concern is their sister, the threats against her, and whether or not Sam will keep her safe and happy for the rest of her life.
Sam’s partner, Tyler, on the other hand is an integral part of keeping Elizabeth safe and alive. But that doesn’t mean he can’t have a little fun flirting with Elizabeth at Sam’s expense. Sam knows Tyler would never take another guy’s girl – and Elizabeth definitely belongs to Sam. Besides, Tyler has a psychic ghost haunting his mind and his dreams. Morgan knows things, about him and his cases. She’s helped him solve many of them with her obscure clues. It doesn’t explain how she always seems to know where he is and what he’s doing. Even stranger, he can’t explain how he hears her sexy, sultry voice in his mind. All he knows is that as lonely as his life has been the last few years, since he met Morgan, he’s never felt truly alone.
Tyler hasn’t seen Morgan since that five minute conversation in a Texas restaurant several years ago. Morgan warned him, one day their paths will cross again. That day is coming soon in: Morgan’s Gift – Book 4: The Hunted Series – Release Date TBA.
But first, find out how Morgan helps Tyler and Sam save Elizabeth’s life and catch a killer in…
Lucky Like Us – Book 2: The Hunted Series – Available 4/9/13
The Hunted series continues as Special Agent Sam Turner discovers protecting the FBI’s star witness is more difficult than he thought!
Bakery owner Elizabeth Hamilton’s quiet life is filled with sweet treats, good friends, and a loving family. But all of that is about to turn sour when an odd sound draws her outside. There’s a man lying unconscious in the street, a car speeding toward them. Without hesitation, she gets the man out of harm’s way before they’re run down.
Unwittingly, Elizabeth has put herself in the path of a serial killer, and as the only one who can identify the FBI’s Silver Fox Killer, she’s ended up in the hospital with a target on her back.
The only man standing between her and death is Special Agent Sam Turner. Against his better judgment, Sam gets emotionally involved…determined to take down the double threat against Elizabeth – an ex desperate to get her back, despite a restraining order, and a killer bent on silencing her before she can identify him.
They set a trap to catch a killer – putting Elizabeth in the killer’s hands and Sam desperate to save her. If he’s lucky, he’ll get his man…and the girl.

Jennifer, I do the same thing–Read and then go dig in the dirt, thinking about what I’ve read. You are a new author for me and I look forward to entering the world of your Hunted Series. Thanks for visiting.
I enjoy romantic suspense and I haven’t heard of this series but it looks like a good one.

Sounds like a good read, but I don’t csre for the cover – just don’t like that type and I cannot put my finger on it. And unfortunately sometimes I just cannot get past the cover.
A bakery owner and a hunky FBI agent, plus a serial killer on the loose? Sounds like a great book! I love romances and this has a great plot. Looking forward to reading it!
