Place review “here” (nsfw)

Yes, it’s true…this is the space that a review should be living right now.  Do you see one?  Yeah, me neither!
It’s been a nutty, nutty week and though I’ve been reading it feels like my brain is all over the place and I can’t focus.  Between my new plaything (no, not a man, a phone) and twitter I can’t friggin concentrate! lol  Even my hubby mentioned last night that I was playing with my phone instead of reading.  Ok, last night wasn’t playing, it was working to get my email working on it after 3 hours of frustration but if he wants to call that playing?  Well, ok. 🙂 And yes, the solution ended up being something so simple – you’d think the tech support and the people at the Sprint store would know this by now but apparently not.
I did finish A to Z by Marie Sexton last night and really, really liked it.  I thought that Zach and Angelo fit so well together and I just loved some of the inner thoughts that the men had – especially Angelo.  Like when he was viewing Jared and Matt (from Promises) and looking at the different way they love each other?  Oh man – made my romantic heart go pitter pat.  Good stuff.  I gave it a 4.5 out of 5
So other than that I got nothin. I thought I’d post a few playthings (no, not phones, men) for your viewing pleasure.  Enjoy them.  I promise to be more on the ball next week.  No, really, it could happen. Stop laughing.

  1. I have A-Z in my TBR pile. I should really dig it out soon cos I loved Promises.

Hope next week is a better reading week for you, Tracy!

  2. I really enjoyed Promises and have the next 3 books in my TBR. Hopefully soon I can read them.

Have fun with your phone/Twitter but get back to reading! lol 🙂

And thanks for sharing the hotties!

Yay for cookies and phones that work. Nothing annoys me more than phoning my tech guys at work for help and they are basically saying X can't be done, you have to rewrite the html code, blah blah blah and as I'm playing around at the same time find a simple solution that any 12 year old knows. Hello? How about right click insert rather than rewriting html code? LOL

Glad you got it fixed and hope life settles down this week. Oh I enjoyed A to Z and skipped the next one and read Strawberries for Dessert. Must go back.

  4. Jen – A to Z was very different from Promises, imho, but I liked it just as well.
Not a bad reading week – just a bad reviewing week! lol

Lily – I'll definitely be reading the next 2 in that series.
That phone! Twitter! They ARE the dark side! lol (I love it)

Tam – Seriously – I couldn't believe that the guy at the store tried all of 2 things and when it didn't work said – yeah, we always have problems with roadrunner email. Hello? Then figure it the fuck out if it happens all the time! Apparently I'm not the only one with unknowledgeable reps since I found a ton of people with the same issues that had posted online. Ah well. In the end it was simple simon. I think I'll go back to the rep and tell him what the solution was! 🙂
I heard Strawberries for Dessert was great.

  5. Go you on the phone, but I am stil amazed at you guys and Twitter.. I think it's just silly really…

    But – enjoy..

Your range of books this week are on my list..

Loving the cookies as well.. sweet

    🙂

I can relate to the nutty week Tracy, I have 9 days off after next week and I can't wait.

LOL re Twitter, be careful – it is addicting. I was on it pretty regular for a while but had to cut back.

As always – you find great cookies!

  7. SWV – That IS a nice one. 🙂

E.H. – Yay me on the phone. lol
Twitter – fun but very addicting!

Lea – Oh woman! 9 days off? How I dream about it. Will it ever happen? Probably not until I retire. And that's a long way off! lol Enjoy your time!
    Twitter = time suck. lol
    I am the cookie monster.

  8. I've read all of Marie's Coda, Colorado, books, and they're all really good!

Actually, that doesn't surprise me at all about tech support!
