Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux and her lover, the lethally beautiful archangel Raphael, have returned home to New York only to face an uncompromising new evil…
A vampire has attacked a girls’ school—the assault one of sheer, vicious madness—and it is only the first act. Rampant bloodlust takes vampire after vampire, threatening to make the streets run with blood. Then Raphael himself begins to show signs of an uncontrolled rage, as inexplicable storms darken the city skyline and the earth itself shudders.
The omens are suddenly terrifyingly clear.
An ancient and malevolent immortal is rising. The violent winds whisper her name: Caliane. She has returned to reclaim her son, Raphael. Only one thing stands in her way: Elena, the consort who must be destroyed…
Most everyone who knows me knows that I’m obsessed a Nalini Singh fangirl. I love every single word she writes. I would read anything she ever wrote. I used to scoff when I heard readers say they would read [insert favorite author here]’s grocery list. Now I understand.
Nalini Singh will be guesting with us on Friday. Play of Passion will be hitting the shelves tomorrow. TOMORROW people! Read my review here. I don’t want you to forgot that Nalini has another great series out with one of the best heroines in the history of romance. Elena Deveraux. Archangel’s Consort will be out in 1/25/11.
Who loves this series as much as I do?
This book is available from Berkley. You can pre-order it here.
I’m a huge Nalini, fan, too, both series. I’m not going to read your review yet, just got Play of Passion today and I’m off to read it in a few minutes. Her books never linger in my TBR pile, lol.
I’ve only read the two Archangel ones so far. I’m not keen on mindmelding stuff so I avoided the pysch ones but I LOVE the Archangel stories and can’t wait for the third to come out.
