While the world carries on unawares, Stryker, who leads an army of demons and vampires, is plotting an all out onslaught against his enemies—which, unfortunately for us, includes the entire human race. To avenge his sister, Stryker prepares to annihilate the Dark-Hunters. But things go awry when his oldest enemy returns. Enter his ex-wife. Zephyra. Just when he thought nothing could stop him, he’s now embroiled in a centuries old war with a shrew who gives new meaning to pain.
I’m curious to see how SK will write this book about a man that I’ve never cared for because duh, he’s a bad guy. I will however be picking this up because this is my crack and I want to see what happens in all of the other storylines, I want to see more Nick, I don’t even know why either as he’s become a whiny baby to me but I’m a nosy one so I have to know.
Will anyone be reading this book with me?
This book is available from St. Martin’s Press. You can pre-order it here.
I’ll be reading it. That being said, I still haven’t read Ash’s story yet…………
I’ll probably buy it.. but, it’ll be awhile before I get to it, because I’m not up to that book in the series, yet.
Yes, I’ll be reading it with you, and for pretty much exactly the same reasons. These are my crack too.
You know, it’s weird, but I SWORE I was only continuing to read this series so that I had a chance of understanding what was going on in Archeron. But because, in Ash’s story, SK cleared up a lot of my confusion about the relationships between the gods of the different pantheons, I think I AM going to continue with Stryker’s story and hopefully Savitar’s someday.
However, I’m STILL not reading the muddied up mess (to me anyhow) that is the Dream Hunters series. Read the first one and NO MORE!
I still have to read Ash’s story. I just can’t seem to get up the enthusiasm to read it though.
I pre-ordered this one. I’ll definitely be reading it.
I think I’m going to skip this one, but I’ll definitively be reading Fury and Fang’s stories 😛
I will be reading it b/c I love the DH, but I will not really be anticipating the release of this book. I will always be a DH fangirl, but I think I will be an Acheron period fangirl.
I’m probably going to pre-order it sometime next week. I’m not especially looking forward to it, because I don’t understand why there would be a story about Stryker at all (I was away for several months and I still haven’t read Dream Chaser and Acheron…maybe there’s an explanation somewhere), but Stryker has been an important character, so his book has to be important to the global storyline’s advancement. *shrugs* The upside is, since I have next to no expectations for that book, I doubt One Silent Night can disappoint me 😀
Wena, I’m with you girly…this stuff is my crack, too. For all of you who are doubtful about it, check out SKs website…there are a couple of excerpts posted that make it sound awesome. There’s one of Stryker with his wife that shows him in a different way than we’ve ever seen him. There’s also introduction to Jared, who’s going to be another fabulous new character.
I’m sure we’re all going to have our minds changed about the Daimon leader after this one.
hello i have finish reading this book but i do think i need a second read to clear up my doubts about the relationships between characters.
Was not looking forward since it is Skyerius book after all but again SK never fails to deliver ^^
