Casee: I’m actually pretty surprised that I read as many books as I did. I really expected to list four books at the most. I guess the holidays didn’t kick my butt as much as I thought.
Vengeance Road by Christine Feehan | 3.75 out 5
Hate Note by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward (audiobook) | 4 out of 5
Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland (audiobook) | DNF
My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren (audiobook) | 3.5 out of 5
Too Far Gone by Christy Reece | 3 out of 5
Of Blood and Bone by Nora Roberts | 2.5 out of 5
Demon’s Mercy by Rebecca Zanetti | 4.25 out of 5
My favorite read of the month was definitely Demon’s Mercy by Rebecca Zanetti. I just adore the Dark Protectors series. My least favorite was Worth the Fight by Vi Keeland. I’m not really sure if it was because the audio was so horrific or because it was actually a bad story. I’ve thought about reading it, but I don’t really care that much about it.
Holly: December was a pretty busy month for me. I listened to a lot of audiobooks, but didn’t have a lot of time to read. I managed to finish 14 books. All but 4 were audiobooks.
Spiral of Need by Suzanne Wright (audiobook) | 4 out of 5
Force of Tempation (audiobook | 4 out of 5
Lure of Oblivion (audiobook) | 4 out of 5
Echoes of Fire by Suzanne Wright (audiobook) | 4.25 out of 5
Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright (audiobook) | 3.5 out of 5
Wicked Cravings by Suzanne Wright (audiobook) |
Carnal Secrets by Suzanne Wright (audiobook) | 2.75/3 out of 5
Wild Hunger by Suzanne Wright (eBook) | 4.25 out of 5
Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward (audiobook) | 2.5 out of 5
Inside Out by Lauren Dane (reread) (audiobook) | 4 out of 5
Never Enough by Lauren Dane (reread) (audiobook) | 3.5 out of 5
Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley (reread) (eBook) | 3 out of 5
Fairytale Come Alive by Kristen Ashley (reread) (eBook) | 3.5 out of 5
My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren (eBook) | 4 out of 5
My favorite reads of the month were Echoes of Fire and Wild Hunger by Suzanne Wright. I really enjoyed both. My least favorite was Hate Notes by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good, either.
Rowena: December was a pretty shitty reading month for me. I just wasn’t in the mood to read anything because I was deep in a binge watch of Hart of Dixie and I spent my New Year’s watching Game of Thrones but it’s been a lot of fun catching up on these shows. I did manage to read about 6 books though. Here’s a list of what I read in the month of December.
Once and for All by Sarah Dessen (eBook) | 4 out of 5
Mystery Man (Dream Man #1) by Kristen Ashley (eBook) | 1 out of 5
The One You Fight For (The Ones that Got Away #3) by Roni Loren (eARC) | 4 out of 5
Famous in a Small Town by Emma Mills (eARC) | 4 out of 5
Illegally Yours (Laws of Attraction #2) by Kate Meader (eARC) | 4 out of 5
Playing for Keeps (Heartbreaker Bay #7) by Jill Shalvis (eARC) | 4 out of 5
My favorite read of the month goes to The One You Fight For by Roni Loren. Taryn and Shaw’s romance was heartbreaking and emotional and just all around good. I adored both of them and loved reading their romantic journey.
My least favorite read of the month goes to Mystery Man by Kristen Ashley because I freaking hated that book. Hawk did nothing for me and Gwen was annoying so yeah, seriously, this book was just bad all over for me.

My favorite was The Hollow of Fear. I didn’t have a least favorite.
My favorite was The One You Fight For – I was not prepared for the intensity and emotions behind both Taryn and Shaw’s personal stories. My least favorite was Luna and the Lie by Mariana Zapata – very, very, very slow book.
My Favorite Half-Night Stand was my favorite read of December. Right by Jana Aston was my least favorite, due to the heroine being very annoying. I did like the first book in the series, Wrong.
One of my favorite December reads was Expedition, Estimation, and Other Dangerous Pastimes (Claimings Book 4) by Lyn Gala
Some books I began but did not finish – Stars Now Unclaimed. City of Broken Magic. Girl from Everywhere. Companion to Wolves. Mirror Empire.
My favorite was Ilona Andrews’ Diamond Fire. My least favorite (still enjoyed it tho) was Sheila Connolly’s Privy to the Dead.
I enjoyed Retta’s So close to being the Sh*t, Y’all don’t even know.
I had a meh reading month in December. Didn’t read near as many books I normally do. Best but not “the best” would be A Crown For Christmas by Rachel Van Dyken. It was exactly like a Hallmark Christmas movie (which was the intention). No worst read, I intentionally read Christmas themed novellas and they were all satisfying. Thanks for sharing!
Since I decided to read a bunch of anthologies during the holidays I went through a ton of short stories and novellas with a completely mixed bag: How the Duke’s Stole Christmas was the best set. I couldn’t really say the worst because it is amazing how some really bad stories get put in anthologies.

Hard to pick a favorite for December since I had so many great reads. Tikka Chance on Me by Suleikha Snyder and The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory were probably my favorites. My least favorite was 99 Percent Mine, but it wasn’t bad by any means, I just enjoyed it less than my other reads.
didn’t read much, no favs
December was a super busy month so I didn’t get as much reading done. There weren’t many choices but I enjoyed Lori Wilde’s Back In The Game. It was a fun start to a series I haven’t read yet and no books I didn’t liked.
