Books to Binge On: February 2015

Happy February folks! It’s a new month of releases and there are a few that we’ve had our eyes on for quite some time now. Check out this latest list of Books to Binge On.

1. Hero by Samantha Young.

Rowena: Hero by Samantha Young is a book that both Holly and I were looking forward to reading. We enjoyed it and even though it’s not a favorite of ours, I still think it will do well. You guys should keep your eyes out for it.

 

2. Shadow Study by Maria V. Snyder.

Rowena: It’s been years since I’ve kept up with the Poison Study series but I didn’t even realize another book was coming out until Holly mentioned it. Color me interested. 🙂

Holly: It’s been ages since I read Poison Study, too, but I really loved Yelena and Valek. I’m definitely interested in this.

Holly: I’m about 3 books behind in this series, but I’ve been in the mood for sci-fi/fantasy/paranormal and these apply, so I think I’ll catch up soon.

4. Soulbound (Darkest London #6) by Kristen Callihan.

Holly: I’m terribly behind in this series, but I’m really looking forward to this book. Adam! *sigh*

5. Bear Attraction (Shifters Unbound #6.5) by Jennifer Ashley.

Jennifer Ashley’s New York Times bestselling Shifters Unbound series continues as a shifter and a human are faced with the unexpected, undeniable pull of a bond

Holly: Walker and Rebecca first met in Tiger Magic (which is my favorite book of the series to date) and I loved them. I’m happy to report the story was adorable. It made me really anxious for the next book.

6. Falling From the Sky by Sarina Bowen.

She’s the woman he doesn’t remember meeting. He’s the man she can’t forget.

Rowena: Ooh, Sarina Bowen cemented her spot on my auto-buy list with every single book in her Ivy Years series. I’m all over this book.

7. Stupid Boy (Stupid in Love #2) by Cindy Miles.

Holly: I’m not gonna lie, I want to read this solely because I love the title. I didn’t even read the blurb.

8. Cursed by Fire by Jacquelyn Frank.

Holly: I’ve been into paranormals lately and this blurb caught my eye. Frank has been hit or miss for me in the past, but I’m looking forward to this new series.

9. The Billionaire and the Virgin by Jessica Clare.

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Billionaire Boys Club novels comes a sizzling series that pairs rich men looking for romances with some very lucky ladies in waiting…

Holly: I love Clare’s other billionaire books and I’m looking forward to starting this one.

10. Edged Blade (Colbaba Files, Book 4) J.C. Daniels.

Holly: I didn’t know a new Colbaba book was coming out. Woot!

11. Ghost Killer (Ghost Seer, Book 3) by Robin D. OWens.

Holly: I still have book 2 TBR, but I plan to read it soon.

12. Hearts on Fire by Alison Packard.

Holly: I’m on a temporary hiatus from contemporary romance, but I have a serious weakness for rock stars (and/or other musicians). There’s a good chance I’ll be reading this on release day.

13. Accepting Fate (Others of Seattle, Book 3) by Brandy L. Rivers.

Accept fate, or it destroys you…

Holly: I’m all about the shifters right now. I read one story by Rivers some time ago and her voice didn’t work for me. I liked the world, however, so I’m willing to try her again.

14. All For You by Christi Barth.

15. Hawk’s Revenge by Vivi Andrews.

Holly: I really like Vivi Andrews and I’m craving shifters right now. Boom. Done.

16. Quarterback Draw (Play by Play #9) by Jaci Burton.

17. Diary of an Accidental Wallflower by Jennifer McQuiston.

Rowena: I’ve only read one book by McQuiston but this new series sounds like a good one and this book has got me curious. On my TBB list it goes.

18. The Last Time We Say Goodbye by Cynthia Hand.

Rowena: I’ve read a couple of Hand’s books before and enjoyed them. After reading the blurb for this book, it sounds like something I’d want to read.

19. Rebound (Boomerang #2) by Noelle August.

Rowena: I read and enjoyed the first book in this series (Ethan was such a cutie patootie) and I liked Adam so I’m mighty curious to see how him and Alison get along. Can’t wait to dig into this one.

20. One of the Guys by Linda Aldin.

Tomboy to the core, Toni Valentine understands guys. She’ll take horror movies, monster hunts and burping contests over manicures. So Toni is horrified when she’s sent to the Winston Academy for Girls, where she has to wear a skirt and learn to be a lady while the guys move on without her.

Then Toni meets Emma Elizabeth, a girl at school with boy troubles, and she volunteers one of her friends as a pretend date. Rowena: This sounds like a cute book so I’m all for reading it. On my list it goes.

21. Better than Perfect by Melissa Kantor.

Juliet Newman has it all. A picture-perfect family; a handsome, loving boyfriend; and a foolproof life plan: ace her SATs, get accepted into Harvard early decision, and live happily ever after.
