The Devil’s Queen

tells the story one of Catherine de Medici, one of history’s most intriguing female figures. Born into one of Florence’s most powerful families, Catherine was left incredibly wealthy by the early death of her parents. She later went on to become the jealous wife of the Prince Henry of France, the scheming mother-in-law to Mary, Queen of Scots, the architect of the bloody St. Bartholomew’s Day massacre, and, of course, France’s most infamous Queen.

We’re doing a quick giveaway of The Devil’s Queen. Leave a comment sometime this weekend. We will announce the winner on Monday.

XOXO,

Casee, Holly, and Rowena

  1. I have never read this author before. In fact, I haven’t even read historical fiction before. Since The Other Bolelyn Girl, I really want to try this genre. Thanks for the chance!

  2. Third attempt – this is what I hate about blogs – hard to post a comment.
I would love to win this book and review it and then share it. I had not heard of you as an author before but I love historical romance books. Best way to learn about history to me.

  3. I would love to read this book. It sounds extremely interesting. I read a book on her a few years ago so it will be nice to compare details.

Please enter me. I’ve always been fascinated by the de Medicis. Actually, her book on the Borgias sounds awesome, too.

    Thanks!

  5. I hope I’m not too late to enter..What an intriguing figure she seems to be, and I loved that little snippet of “The book of black magic”.
