Single on a couples’ getaway? Not the way to spend a vacation skiing the Alps.
Zach is in Austria helping his friend put together his ice bar and ice hotel. (It sounds really cold! lol) When he is the last to leave the top of the mountain one night he finds a lone pair of skis. Not willing to take the chance that there’s someone still on the mountain he goes on a hunt. He finds Allie stuck in a glacier cave and manages to get her out. The two hit it off immediately and they decide to warm each other up under the sheets.
But when Zach’s real life – he’s a famous American skier in Austria to recuperate from an injury – starts to intrude things get more than a little bumpy for the couple.
I think my only problem with the book was Allie’s reaction to Zach near the end. She felt that he did something completely uncalled for but instead of waiting around she went home, deleted his number and never planned on speaking to him again! Yikes – talk about overreaction! How about have a conversation! lol
Despite that one part I thought this was a very short but incredibly cute book. I think I smiled through most of the reading and still had one on my face when I finished the book. Zach and Annie’s personalities and their fun-loving attitudes were just so great to read. Elsborg has a great way with words and she put them to paper in such a way that you just want to read more.

Hi Tracy,
Thanks for the review. I’m glad you liked the book. I think you’re right – she should have talked to him. Problem is these stories have to be very short and I just didn’t want to chop any of the earlier bits to expand the last part. Another chapter and I could have convinced you she acted in character!!!
Thanks for the comment, Barbara. You need to tell them you’re being artistically repressed and push for that extra chapter! lol Just kidding.:)
Well, as I said I really liked the book despite that one issue and I look forward to reading more of your stories.
