The True Love Quilting Club by Lori Wilde
Casting Off by Nicole R. Dickson
The Life You’ve Imagined: A Novel by Kristina Riggle
Did you play any sports or do any extracurricular activities in school? Debate team, drama club, softball, football, art, etc?
This is a 1 day contest that runs until 11:59 p.m. tonight. Winners will be announced Sunday.
Yep! I was at the volleyball team, the traditional dances team and the aerobic team.
I did a bit of many things in school: choir, debate, model UN, water polo, lacrosse, newspaper etc…
Sadly, I wasn’t really “good” at any of them.
I wasn’t a sports person but I was in Choir, Student Government, Interact, and FCA
I was part of the volleyball team, I didn’t like it (the sport) at all, but it did helped me a lot at being very flexible. 🙂
I’m part of the basketball team 🙂
Softball, and archery beleive it or not.

I was geeky, awkward, and shy, but for some strange reason, I was pretty good at archery and tennis. I was in the BETA Club with the other “brainy” geeks : )
I played softball and had a blast with our team. The girls felt like family.
No, I didn’t participate in any of those.
Only what was required to pass PE…although I do think I was passable at volleyball. Other than that, I was in the junior bowling league until I got to high school and learned it wasn’t “cool” anymore.
High School: Soccer, acted in plays, Academic Team, Yearbook editor
College: Acted in plays, was on on the women’s rugby team (I was the “hooker”) 😉
I was in drama club in which I both acted and did “tech.” I also was associate editor of the high school newspaper.
High school was full of extracurricular activities for me: class officer, school newspaper, debate and drama clubs, student council, quiz bowl team. I did fewer activities in college, but was still involved in some.
I was in the orchestra in high school. I didn’t join any sports clubs in school, but I was horseback riding on my own. The other clubs and such in high school I joined were the usual nerdy/brainy ones (math team, honor society, etc.).

I didn’t play any sports, lucky for them because I wasn’t at all athletic. I did belong to a club, but that was it. I spent most of my time outside of school reading, working, or hanging with my boyfriend.
I did not do any of these things.
There were no girls sports at my school and I lived 25 miles out in the country, so no way to get home if I had stayed after school—-this was in the 1950’s.
I was on the swim team and that was great, but all the other kinds of sports I was terrible at especially things which involved a ball.

I played softbabll since I was 6 and stuck with it through my junior year. I didn’t play senior year because I didn’t like the Varsity coach. It was well known I was on jv for the reason I refused to be on Varsity. To me, playing a sport is about fun. Ya, I strive to be my best and work hard, but I refuse to be yelled at constantly and having a bully of a man get in my face was something I refused to put up with. So, senior year I worked after school and I missed softball like crazy, but I had a fun time with my jv team
I wasn’t a sports person. I was a member of the Library Club and a Library Assistant in high school. I loved to read back then, too.

I was a total nerd.. in the marching band. At least I was KINDA cool since I was one of the few chicks on the drum line… still kinda hard to be cool though in Marching Band. 🙂
No time for extracurriculars because I was too busy working to make money for college.
Yes, I played a lot of sports (judo, tennis, basketball & swimming). I also went to music lessons, dance lessons & french/english lessons.
