The setting isn’t in the mansions of London, but in the crime-ridden and poorer parts of London.

  6. What I enjoy about Elizabeth’s series, is that it’s nice to meet and follow characters from one book to another. I also think this heightens the excitement in waiting for the next book to be released.

I also love the location settings like Whitechapel and the rookeries.

Congratulations to Elizabeth on her latest release of “Lord of Darkness”.

  8. I love historical romance & this series appeals to me due to the sensuality, sense of danger & characters that need to be redeemed. The cover art draws you to these books also.

  9. I have only read the first one of these, and two things appeal to me very strongly right now: one, the period. These novels are set quite a few years before the usual historical romances, which gives them just that little bit of the unusual.

Then, there’s the Ghost of St Giles, whose identity is left hanging at the end of the first book.

I really enjoyed Wicked Intentions, and would love a chance to get the rest of the series, see what Ms Hoyt makes of the characters and their circumstances.

I love series! Meeting all the supporting characters, having some of them get their own stories, and seeing how the primary characters from the earlier stories are doing.
