Well done Rowena for working so maniacally. . . er patiently on the blog. Have a drink . . or two and a big cake and a pile of books!
Thanks, Willa. Holly did most of the work but it wasn’t a walk in the park. I’m just glad that we’re up and running and Holly is back from Jamaica to go back to work on the back end of our site. I’m not the girl for that job.
Takes drink, cake and books off Rowena and gives them to Holly ! Heeeeeee!
LMAO, hey!!!
Ha! We can share, Rowena. I may have done most of the work but you stayed on hold with our crappy host for an entire day, so you deserve a treat.
Yay!!
Drinks, cake and books for everyone!
I’m leaving this super awesome quote here as a test. From Saving Grace by Julie Garwood:
“Do you believe dull-witted oxen will have a higher place in heaven than women?”
Father MacKechnie was such a good man. She didn’t want to disappoint him. She wasn’t going to lie to the priest though, no matter what the consequences.
“No,” she whispered. She glanced up to see how her denial affected the priest. He didn’t look horrified. She took a breath and then blurted out, “I don’t believe any of it. I’m a heretic, Father, and will surely burn in hell.”
The priest shook his head. “I don’t believe it either,” he told her. “It’s nonsense made up by frightened men.”
[…]
“We teach our children to love God, not fear Him. He is compared to a kind, good-hearted father.”
“And if a Highlander sins?”
“If he is repentant, he will be forgiven.”
She thought about his explanation a long while before she spoke again. “Then I am not damned because I don’t believe God loves women least of all?”
The priest smiled. “No, you are not damned,” he agreed. “You have as much value as any man. To tell you the truth, lass, I don’t believe God keeps a list or hierarchy.”
Yay, you fixed it!
