Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
Jill Shalvis is helping us celebrate the most romantic day of the year with a giant Valentine’s Day giveaway! She’s giving away a handful of her books and let me tell you, it’s pretty awesome!
To start things off, Jill has graciously offered up:
Ali Winters is not having a good day. Her boyfriend left her, everyone in town thinks she’s a thief, and now she’s about to be kicked out of her home. Her only shot at keeping a roof over her head and clearing her name is to beg for help from a police detective who’s as sexy as he is stern….
After a high-profile case goes wrong, Luke Hanover returns to his hometown for some peace and quiet. Instead he finds a bombshell brunette in a heap of trouble. As he helps Ali put her world back together, the pieces of Luke’s own life finally seem to fall into place. Is this the start of a sizzling fling? Or are Luke and Ali on the brink of something big in a little town called Lucky Harbor?
And a little later this year, we’ll be getting RUMOR HAS IT (November 5, 2013 release date) which will delight fans because it’s GRIFF AND KATIE’S STORY! Mark your calendar dear readers!
There are lots to look forward to this year from Jill Shalvis and we’re doing our happy dance in our excitement!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!
We hope you guys enjoy your Valentine’s Day!
I love Valentin’s Day because it makes me smile all day remembering I was lucky enough to marry my best friend 21 years ago.
We don’t do anything really special on this day just a card and are especially kind to each other. With my husband I am always comfortable and loved.

i love all the cheap(er) chocolates at the store!
I love the flowers, gourmet chocolates and also hersheys, ghiradellis, going out to eat with my husband and getting books is always a treat or a g.c. to buy them.
patoct@yahoo.com
GHIRADELLIS SEA SALT CARAMELS! that and gift card for books…best vday presents!
I am a widow, so don’t celebrate unless I am with my daughter and her family. But I do love my chocolates!!!

Thanks for the great giveaway; not better than books and chocolate.
I love the romance, the decorations, the flowers and the candy. Thanks for the awesome giveaways. I love Jill Shalvis’ books.

Well, rats, I’m coming up blank.
I grew up in a country where, at that time, Valentine’s Day was just a novelty and no one did anything particularly special. I’ve never outgrown that outlook, so my view of the day is pretty cynical all in all.
If that doesn’t disqualify me (fat chance, but I’m an optimist too) I would love to get the Animal Magnetism novels.
Happy Valentine’s to you all, ladies!
I like going out for a nice dinner sometime during the week – just me and hubby away from the craziness of everyday life.
I love seeing people buying each other flowers. I don’t put much stock in receiving flowers myself. But for some reason, I get all gooey when I see other people giving/receiving them.
The flowers are nice, but I really like the chocolate.
penfield716(AT)yahoo(DOT)com
Who doesn’t love the chocolates? This year my husband shocked me…he went to a horse sale in the beginning of the week and instead of buying a horse he brought me home a beautiful silhoutte horsehead and diamond pendant. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks??? He’s the best!!
itsallgoodstable@gmail.com
What I like most about Valentine’s Day is the happiness. We’re spreading all kinds of love around today–couples, kids in school, blog friends. It gives an extra oomph for everyone to be extra cheerful. Chocolate, of course, helps with the cheerfulness.
Thanks for a wonderful contest. Jill’s books are great. Happy Valentine’s Day, all.
mochfly(at)swbell(dot)net
What I love about Valentine’s day is the anticipation of guessing how my husband will surprise me. Last year, we ended up having to eat at Subway because our first calf of the year decided to make an appearance. I don’t think that was what he had planned. 🙂

I love the smell of the roses, my husband always gives me.
I’ve been single for the last couple of years, but I like doing things for my family & friends if they don’t have special plans. Cook a big meal, get a *HUGE* assortment of movies/games/artsy drawing thingies if we decide to play a game 🙂
So that’s always been fun 🙂 I’m not a big fan of focusing on what I don’t have.. (which is a SO) and instead focus on what I do have (friends, family, health etc) 🙂 Makes for a good Valentines Day every year, no matter what.
I just love getting to spend time being with my husband. After 24 years we don’t get all doe eyed and lovey dovey much anymore, but anniversaries and Valentine’s bring out the young lovers in us.
Thanks for the giveaway. :o)
I love all the candy sales this time of year. Nothing beats that. Thanks for the great giveaway.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
e.balinski(at)att(dot)net
I love Valentin’s Day because my daughters and I share the love and laughter making Valentines and making a chololate heart shape cake. it’s a special time just the 3 of us as husband/dad thinks it’s a waste of time! LOL!
Happy Valentines day!

What do I love about Valentine’s Day? What I love about every day! Chocolate! …of course, Valentine’s rocks because *I* don’t have to be the one buying the chocolate – just the one consuming it! 😉
rissatoo (ATgmail DOTcom)
I love being with my husband and chocolate.I am a total chocoholic. I hope everyone has a Happy Valentines Day!
It’s a day in the grey of winter to bring a reminder that Love is all important – and also a good reason to have some chocolate!
sallans d at yahoo dot com
To me it being with the ones that you love or talking to them on the phone( live far away). Also, getting homemade cards from my two adorable grand-daughters 5 & 1 yr. old, to me that is better flowers & chocolate.
tagh08@aol.com
I love how happy and nice everyone gets on valentine’s day. Being single the last couple of years I also love just being with my family.
crystal.hynds@yahoo.com
My favorites on Feb. 14 are (in this order): the exuberant Valentine’s “I love you, sweetie” from my husband; my high schooler’s muttered “love you” when I drop her off at school; the hug and homemade valentine from my 6th grader; candy hearts; and chocolate!
My hubs just asked me if I would be his valentine today and every day. It just gave me a warm glow – that’s what valentine’s day is best at.
jen(at)delux(dot)com
Thanks for the fun giveaway! I love seeing how sappy and romantic people can be 🙂 I’m not that way or my BF but it’s still fun to observe. I usually get a card and a nice dinner.

Happy Valentine’s Day. We like to keep it simple, so I love and appreciate the chocolate, cards and the flowers.

I like the decorations and the excuse to get chocolate. I double like the half price candy the days after.
acm05atjuno.com
Every year all my hubby and I give each other is a card for Valentine’s Day so I love getting my card. In normal life he is not a super romantic guy, but he always picks out really sweet, romantic cards.
Thanks for the chance to win.
suegaluska (at) yahoo (dot) com
I celebrate Single’s Awareness Day. I enjoy having girls night. 🙂 And then I usually spend the rest of the evening reading romance novels. lol.
I love being able to tell my daughter about this day and what true love is really about — acceptance.
I love spending the day with my three Valentines: my hubby and my two Jack Russell Terriers. And I would be lying if I said I didn’t also love the candy aspect of the holiday! 🙂

I enjoy Valentine’s Day because it reminds us to share our feelings with those we care about, whether it’s a significant other, family, or friends, it’s important to let them know just how much we care and appreciate them being in our lives.
chocolate, chocolate, and chocolate. : )
We usually wait and celebrate the next day because the 15th is my husband’s birthday. So no lines at restaurants and sale on candy. LOL
evanlea at gmail dot com
Love bother series. Added bonus of chocolate!
JenCrump1@gmail.com
I love that everyone around is more loving towards one another. And of course it’s great to have a special little something with your significant other!
Kbcarambot@att.net
I love the fact that I can curl up with the cheesiest romance novel or movie I can find and for one day I won’t get made fun of by my friends and family. Plus the chocolate is nice too. 😉

I love that everyone around is more loving towards one another. And of course it’s great to have a special little something with your significant other!

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. I mean, what other day is there where it is perfectly acceptable to devour bite after bite of sweet cocoa goodness? Thanks for the great giveaway.
Tracietzkorn(at)comcast(dot)net
I love Valentine’s day for the sake of seeing how happy my friends are when someone shows their love for them. Seeing all the pics of flowers and gifts my friends receive gives me the warm fuzzies inside! eaileenpitt at g mail dot com
Love your books, not a big fan of Valentines Day!! I feel the love all year long because of my great family, and my sweet loving husband!! Oh, I forgot and the love I have for a great book!! Love the feeling when you can feel the love coming off the words of a page!! Yes, I know it sounds weird but that’s how I feel! Keep up the great work!!
I love Valentine’s, because this is the time my honey and I get to go to Destin! Thanks for an awesome giveaway!!! bjdeese at rocketmail dot com
What a great contest!! I love Jill’s books! Brach’s Cinnamon Jelly Hearts, which you can only get during Valentine’s season, are a must have! I also enjoy the romantic & Valentine themed movies on TV. Thanks for the opportunity,
resarae@ gmail (dot) com
I indulge in chocolate for Valentine’s day. It’s my favorite part of this holiday. I do send cards to family and friends to let them know I’m thinking of them.

Wow what amazing contest!!! Good luck everyone 🙂

Chocolate. Need I say more? lol I’m single so part of me kind of dislikes Valentine’s Day, but I’m also a romantic, so I HAVE to like it. It’s very confusing. 😛
Thanks for the AWESOME giveaway!
lovey_20_81@hotmail.com
Valentines day is very special to me. Not because of gifts my husband buys me, because he doesn’t. He buys for me all through the year. It is so special though because 34 years ago I gave birth to our oldest daughter. Nothing will ever top that Valentine for me. 🙂
I love the colors and the hearts. They are romantic. This has always been one of my favorite holidays! I even married my sweetheart on this day!!
What I love about Valentine’s Day is that I can spend the whole day with the people I love, not just the person I am with. And of course pass the smores and ice cream.
friends34505@yahoo.com
I love this contest! What I love most about V DAY is when little kids give each other cards.. Nothing cuter than the kids boxes of v day cards.. As Thomas the Tank engine says.. I choo choo choose you Valentine!
robin (d0t) nichole79 (at) gmail (d0t) com
What I love most is getting discounted candy the next day 🙂
lenikaye@yahoo.com
Well my husband and I celebrate our anniversary 2 weeks before Valentine’s Day so that’s our big night out and v-day in our house is usually pretty low key (which is surprisingly nice). My favorite part though is hearing other people’s romantic stories…I had lots of fun yesterday seeing what everyone else was up to.
laurelskoog at comcast dot net
What I loved about Valentine’s Day growing up was my dad always made it a special day for all of us kids. He would come home with chocolates for us and something special for mom. It’s a great day to show love to those around you in some special way.
sara.gallagher@rocketmail.com
I love that my husband comes home and gets our sons to help him in spoiling me rotten. I remind him that Valentine’s Day is for him, too, but he says the thing that makes him the happiest is making me feel great.
I love Valentine’s Day because it is a day to pause from all the nonsense that makes us busy and reflect on the over 40 years we have shared together. I also like the chocolate!
I have always loved getting cards…from romantic to serious! There is nothing better than getting a card…except chocolate of course!
jendgrimm@gmail.com
I’ve had this question before and my answer never changes. It’s the romance of it all….It’s the anniversary of the day I got engaged all those years ago (He put a valentine’s ad in the local weekly free paper asking me to marry him and had a heart shaped Diamond ring waiting for me) along with the comment….you better like it because you know how many electric downriggers I could have bought with the money it cost ??!!! lmao….must have thought I was worth it…So in the end I don’t care if we go out to eat, go shopping or sit home and do nothing, as long as we do it together. It’s not about how much was spent moneywise, it’s about how much was spent timewise/connecting with the one you love. He’s not very romantic most days and if I ask if he loves me his answers always the same “I’m here aren’t I?” yes he is and has been for over 20 years….I’ll take that over someone who puts on a front just because its expected.
Diana
For my little bff Jake (he’s a dog) my sister took him to get a peticure. Our bff’s need Valentine’s love too.
I’m not supposed to eat chocolate anymore which is wrong on so many levels. But I’m very excited for your new books! The Lucky Harbor series is amazing and who doesn’t love the combo of adorable animals and hot guys 🙂
I love the after valentines sales on leftover chocolates. Yum! And a good romance to read.
Jjm55@yahoo.com
Love your books can’t wait for your new ones. auntiemar328@aol.com
We love to spend the day with kids, and I usually cook a big dinner and we all sit and talk and laugh. Then when the kids go to bed we make a little romance of our own 🙂
kyprincess1979@gmail.com
Ok i love valentines day for the kids..I love my husband but we don’t celebrate this much..we do up our anniversary. But I love to see the children make valentines for their friends..its so cute.
I also love the after VD sales on chocolates.
mybeach52@yahoo.com
My favorite part of Valentine’s Day is my husband making his famous lasagna! We stopped trying to eat in restaurants on Valentine’s Day years ago!
I love Valentine’s because I love spending time with my loved ones 🙂
csygnzlz@gmail.com
I love Valentine’s because I love spending time with my loved ones 🙂
csygnzlz@gmail.com
I love it just so I can spend a nice night with my husband of 27 years..
I think that when you open the door and you get a dozen roses then are taken to a romantic resturant and then dancing on the beach at sunset
I love Valentine’s day cause I can bake heart shaped desserts for my family and eating a ton of chocolate.
Tink81101(at gmail dot com)
After 34 years together, it’s not about the candy, flowers, cards or gifts. It’s about the love you both share, the looks of love in his eyes, the goosebumps I still get and with my health issues having him by my side through thick n thin. I just had major back surgery 14 days ago and can’t do much of anything. He helps me shower, dress, whatever I need. Now that is True Love!
Chrissy12583 at yahoo dot com
On Valentine’s DAY I like to go to special restaurants that you seldom go to since it makes for a more romantic atmosphere. Maybe a mixed drink and then home to share the night with my hubbub(pg rating). slowneasy@bbtel.com
I love getting to spend time with my hubby.
I love the flowers, chocolates, romance. I didn’t have a Valentine this year so I spent a quiet day and evening reading a new book & cuddling with my 16 week old Golden Retriever puppy Landry.
I love how my kids used to (they are all teenagers now) get so excited about their treats and valentines for their classmates. My two daughters ended up going out to dinner together, my son went to a school basketball game, and I enjoyed a glass of sweet red wine!
My husband and I celebrate Vday every day we don’t need one day a year for him to make me feel like I’m the most special, and he does. He treats me like a queen and I’m very spoiled and blessed. But this one day he will still do something but he usually gets me something pratical this yr it was a box from Amazon with 10 of my favorite paperbacks even though I have them on my Kindle! sheykay92@gmail.com
I love to show a little extra love on this day.
All the chocolate!
Dinner with my hubby, nice bottle of wine.. at home because you can’t get reservations unless you want to eat at 4.30pm or 10pm…
chocolate
I love all the lovey dovey atmosphere =)
My Valentine passed away 5 years ago, we loved to go to dinner at a special restaurant then have our special private time. I miss him so much. Love your stories. They help me remember romance and make me happy for a little while.
Stl-koni@sbcglobal.net
I love the gifts and the thoughtfulness that go into them. I am not shallow, my love language is gifts. I love to give more than receive, well, maybe I love them equally! My husband is not a big gift giver but he showers me with love and attention whenever he is home. And he lets me buy whatever I want 😉
I love valentine’s day because everyone seems to get excited, giving out candy and valentines. Me and my friends made each other valentine cards to exchange. I like how even if you don’t have a significant other it’s still fun to celebrate with those you love.
guardgurl711[at]comcast[dot]net
I love surprising my kids with little Valentine’s goodies in the middle of an otherwise dreary month. And chocolate! I love all of the chocolate!!
Karise Edmunds
As a kid i loved decorating my paper bag and passing out valentines and receiving them. As a single adult I came to enjoy going to the mailbox and getting a valentine from my mom and dad. I love getting mail other than bills. I also sent my niece her first valentine this year.
Being married to my wonderful husband makes every day Valentines Day. I am truly blessed!
I enjoy the chocolates, especially stocking up on the day after!
I love to see all of my frinds be surprised by flowers and chocolates from their significant others. My hubby buys me wine & roses- I’m a lucky girl!

My husband is a very quiet serious kinda guy. You know how much he loves you by how he acts but not a big huggy kind of guy. Valentine Day is one of the few days he knows I love so he goes out of his way to make it special. Picks up dinner on the way home and we share wine and snuggle on the couch to watch a movie I choose (even a chick flick). We have been together 34 years now and I love him more every day!! Thanks for the wonderful Giveaways and I absolutely love your books. When I start one I cannot put it down.
I love all the red everywhere! And all the chocolate! Thanks for this amazing giveaway!!
I have to say that my Valentines weakness is getting CHOCOLATES, and my family did not disappoint this year 🙂
I really enjoy getting chocolate for Valentine’s Day but I really don’t need to be eating it. I get my son a box every year.
What I love about Valentines Day is watching my youngest daughter (6yrs old) get her 1st special hand delievered gift from a little, young man from her class that can not get enough of her. And the smile on her face when she gives him his fossil fern gift and watch as they smile at each other, while I think Cupid has struck again! What a fantastic contest to be in!

I just love all the real romantic stories told around Valentine’s Day!
I love when my DH surprises me, even the day after, with flowers 🙂
Besides the fact that, like our anniversary, it’s a built-in excuse for a date night, I love sharing our traditions with the kids. Making cards, getting a little piece of candy from the local shop down the street, fresh flowers in February– I love passing those pleasures along to the next generation.
I love Valentine’s Day but not the Hallmark pat of it. I love that it’s a day to celebrate your loved ones. Be them lovers, spouses, friends or kids. I buy gifts for everyone I close to to show them I care. I also like that for certain cultures it’s a two part celebration. Men are celebrated Feb. 14 and Women a month later.
I love all of it … cards, chocolates, and flowers! Thanks for the giveaway, Jill! Looking forward to reading your books … again! Would love to own more of your books.
🙂

At Valentine’s Day I think about all the wonderful people I’m blessed to have in my life including my lover of 12 years, a stepson and a job that I love (teaching ).
I love the suspense of Valentines day. Will I, or, Won’t I have a Valentine this year. Pretty suspenseful!
I love how my kids share the love…my daughter and son made cupcakes and a hand-crafted card this year. So sweet!

because at least for a day we think about love instead of hate.
I like seeing the beautifully colored flowers, getting to eat a yummy meal that I didn’t have to cook, and then topping it all of with some chocolate. twalsh@mwalsh.net
I love Valentine’s Day because it’s a day devoted to showing your loved ones how much they mean to you whether they are your spouse or your children, your parents or your friends. A special dinner, a card, a rose or 12, a stuffed teddy bear or my sister’s favorite a stuffed frog holding a BIG heart. The look on their face when you present your loved ones with a token of your affection on a day set aside especially for them is priceless. bluemoonie2016@yahoo.com
My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is that it is my twins birthday! They weren’t due until the middle of March but decided to make their grand entrance, all 14+ lbs of them, on Valentine’s Day 2007. BEST. GIFT. EVER.

I love the chocolate 🙂
the one thing i love most about valentines day is spending time with the people that matter to me the most!
Sylve_takajian@yahoo.com
I love that after 52 years of marriage my hubby still buys me roses and surprises me with jewelry!
It’s a celebration of love, of all kinds of love – what’s not to love about that?!?
The chocolate is good. Spending time with someone special would be better.
missieholly at gmail dot com
The thing I love about Valentine’s Day is that it reminds us to tell the people we love that we love them. Yes, we should tell them more often, but the reality is that life can get in the way. On Valentines’s Day, you can’t forget. There are reminders everywhere : )
Supergirlbn18@aol.com
Being a single gal on Valentine’s Day kind of sucks. What I can’t pass up is chocolate… give me chocolate anyday, preferably dark chocolate, but I won’t be that picky!
Love to spend time with my husband, hopefully see by kids and grandkids. Also Chocolate is always a winner!
I love chocolates as does my Hubby.
We both exchange Valentine’s Day cards and have a nice dinner at home.
I would love to win the giveaways. I enjoy reading.
Thanks for the opportunity to win the prizes.

I love seeing all the girls faces light up at work when we get flowers from our honeys – it kind of makes the day sparkly for all of us 🙂
I love Valentine’s Day because it gives me an excuse to do something for my husband. This year my son made him a card, I baked him special cookies and decorated his coffee cup to take to work.
I love the chocolate 🙂

Valentine’s Day is another one of those Holidays when there’s just a little bit more Kindness & Love shown amongst us…. (Even though I think it should be shown all year)!
I always tell my hubby not to spend any money, but he always buys me a Lovely card with a Beautiful Sentiment, which means more than anything to me. 🙂
Valentine’s Day used to be a big day for me and my late husband because his birthday was on Valentine’s Day. He would grill us a steak and always bought me a piece of jewerly. I do like spoiling my grandson on Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day is a great day to spend with hubby who teases me and keeps asking our dog Noah to be his valentine. I love that we can laugh and joke and tease each other, being married to your best friend is amazing :)14 years and counting!
I love the feeling of love all around that day. Everyone is in the spirit! 🙂
What I like about Valentine’s Day is getting candy. Lol It doesnt matter what kind or how much. I love the feel of the occasion just for the fact that there’s hearts everywhere. And I notice people are a lot happier when “love” is in the air. I don’t really “celebrate” it with my bf, but we just exchange little gifts of appreciation. Nothing extravagant. I miss Valentine’s day in elementary because everyone would bring treats to share. *ahhhh* memories. Thanks for the giveaway!! and thanks to Jill!! 🙂
Please enter me. Thanks!

Chocolate and spending time with hubby
I love Valentine’s Day…a holiday to remember Love! I like the cards, the chocolate, the flowers, the romantic dinner, ……
I love watching the kids. The excitement of filling out their valentine’s; picking special ones for special friends; anticipating what they’ll get in return. So much fun!
I love Valentines because I LOVE the suprised look on my mom’s face when I surprise her with her Valentine gifts. We live on Kodiak island in Alaska and its hard to keep stuff hidden when we travel back from town to our village of Port Lions.
Oh how I would love to have Jill’s books in paperback! Love love love her stories.

I forgot to tell what I love about Valentine’s Day…the fact that my husband never fails to show me how much he loves me. It could be flowers and chocolate, a night at a local B&B, a gourmet meal at a local restaurant, or a spa package. He’s done so many wonderful things for me over the years. Yep, he’s a keeper.
I love Valentine’s day because I enjoy seeing my grandkids excitement about giving and receiving valentines. I sat with my 7 year old granddaughter yesterday afternoon and admired all her cards, she was so proud of them. I usually spend my Valentine’s Day babysitting the grandkids so my daughter and son in law can go out.

My husband of 32 yars and I celebrte our love for each other every day.I gave him my heart and he gave me his name and I will cherish it every day for the rest of my life. I show hm how much that means to me by honoring our vows that we promised each other.
I like to spend some quiet time with my hubby. I don’t like going out to dinner on Valentine’s Day itself…too crowded and long waits. So this year, grilled steaks (made by my grill master husband), and strawberry shortcake.

What I love most about Valentine’s Day is that I’ve been married to my Valentine for 38 years! He’s wonderful everyday, and since having open heart surgery 1 year ago, I’m especially grateful to have him. He cooks dinner when I work late, buys me M & Ms & Snickers, and makes me laugh everyday.
I love Valentine’s cards. The kind we gave in elementary school. They were always so cute and simple, cartoon or rhyme. They always made me happy, in simpler times, when I didn’t worry if I was loved or not, dating or not, and they just made the day festive and fun.
meganbritton13@gmail.com
Because I’m a childcare provider my favorite part of Valentines is sharing the cards.
I love that it is a perfect reason to tell people you love them; which should be done more often anyway.
I love the chance to tell everyone special to me how much I love them. I know we should do that all the time put a holiday gives us a good reason to tell them how special they are.
MinDaf @ Aol.com
I like the cards and gifts, but simply put, I like the idea of a special holiday dedicated to reminding our loves how important they are to us!
The best part of Valentine’s Day is seeing happy couples. Yes, they might argue and yell at each other but at the end of the day the love they have for each other is still there. That kind of love is hopeful. Hope everyone will find that one day if they, like me, haven’t already found it yet.
I know I should say spending time with my wonderful husband, because I do really, really enjoy kicking back with just him when the kids are all doing their thing…but I am not going to lie…it’s the chocolate. 🙂
Guess it’d help if I left my email addy…dah

While every day should be about love, Valentine’s Day is about chocolate.

I love Valentine’s Day because I get to eat chocolate totally guilt free. Oh yeah, and because I get to share it with the people I love the most. Well, sometimes I share. lol
Love chocolate every day but Valentine’s Day gives you an honest excuse to indulge! Chocolates and books? What’s better???
I love the heartfelt cards my husband gets me and the chocolate!
Ah, Valentine’s Day. I think my favorite thing about it is that it reminds you to slow down and pay attention to the people you love, to keep romance alive. I’m not so much on the hearts and flowers part, but with creativity, the most amazing things can be romantic!
Hi, I love Valentine’s Day because was the day the my now husband and I started officially going steady 27 years ago. We also were engaged on Valentine’s Day too 3 years into our relationship. Poor guy my birthday is then 3 days later, and our anniversary is in Feb too. We will be married 23 years this year.
I just love all the flowers and chocolates! 🙂
Celebrating a love of the finer things in life, like marvelous music, fantastic food, and great romance reads, seems a perfect way to say: “Happy Valentine’s Day!” Love makes the world go around. It makes fools out of grown men, and makes women who should know better act like school girls with their first crush. Love brings light to dark corners, sunshine to cloudy days, and a joyful heart when least expected. It gives hope when all hope was thought to be lost. People who love and are loved in return live longer, smile more often, and generally make the world a better place. Whether you are enjoying the first blush of a new romance or the golden glow of a lifelong love, I wish you the happiest Valentine’s day ever! If you are without your loved one, no matter what the reason, then I wish you peace in your remembrance.

Chocolate, books and wine! These are my best friends and not necessarily in this order! Thank you for sharing your writing talent. We enjoy your books.
Getting fresh flowers. They just brighten the room up. And getting to spend time with someone you love.

Hubby asked me what I wanted for Valentine’s day. Hehe. He wanted balloons so.

I love giving little unexpected surprises on Valentine’s Day. I will leave little chocolates or cards for friends, co-workers or family. It is all about the unexpected, I will sometimes talk to someone several times in the morning and then slip a card on their desk in the afternoon.

What I love about Valentine’s Day is my husband doesn’t fall asleep on the couch after dinner that night. Plus, I love how friendly people are on that day too.

What I love most about Valentine’s Day isn’t romantic love, but love none the less … Valentine’s Day has always been a birthday in our family. My Mom is a valentine baby. I like the fact that we get to share that day with her!
I love taking the time to tell the people who are special to you how you feel! And the chocolate of course!
Any Valentines day that my husband remembers is special 🙂

I love that my husband always surprises me witha present on Valentine’s day, and it’s not your usual flowers or chocolate. He knows me so well that he goes and gets something that I’ve been really wanting but haven’t gotten yet because I’ve been trying to be good. My Husband always makes me feel so special!!!

Valentine’s Day is a reminder to not take the love in our lives for granted. I love the fact that it is a gentle reminder to tell those that we love “I Love You” and not just assume they know it.
I love the chocolates and the flowers.

Spending time with my honey at home. We usually order in our favorite food complete with dessert and enjoy each other’s company. We are very low key.
Thanks for the contest. Never read Shalvis so I would love to win this.

I love watching my young boys enjoy the fun and spirit of the holiday. They take so much pleasure in it…it’s infectious!
Valentine’s Day is special for me as a coming home reminder! On Valentine’s Day 1999, I came home after a 2 month stay at the hospital and a local medical “lodge” facility where I had been treated for leukemia. My hubby, who I thought had arranged a weekend visit home, actually had arranged for me to come home for good. While we still had a few more follow-up day trips to the hospital, it was wonderful to be home…and the best V Day gift ever!

What I love about Valentine’s Day is that you can show the people you care about how much you love them. It’s not only about being in love, it’s about celebrating those you love, such as your friends and family.
