Rowena: September was a good reading month for me. Â I read a lot of books that I liked, old books that I loved and books that were so-so but it’s all good because considering the slump I’m in now, I’m just happy that I read as much as I did back then.

My favorite reads were probably my re-reads of the Karen Marie Moning books (Kiss of the Highlander, The Dark Highlander) that I did for my book club. It was so good to revisit my favorite characters from this series. Â I’d completely forgotten how much I loved me some MacKeltar twins and I’d forgotten how enjoyable Kiss of the Highlander was. Â My preferred twin has always been Dageus and he still is but I came to love Drustan a lot more than I remembered. Â My least favorite read goes to Finally Home by Helen Scott Taylor. Â It just didn’t work for me.

My favorite reads of the month were Tart and Dream Lake. Since all I really did was re-read, I didn’t have a least favorite.Â
