Sixteen year old Rachel has always idolized her older brother Micah, but she knows he also secretly struggles with addiction. So when Micah doesn’t come home one night, Rachel panics.
Then Rachel gets an anonymous note telling her that Micah is a few hours away—and on the brink of destruction. Accompanied by Micah’s best friend Tyler, Rachel sets out to find her brother. With no concrete leads, Rachel and Tyler spend hours wandering the streets. But before Rachel can move on, she must confront her own dark secrets, her growing attraction to Tyler…and the possibility that Micah may never come home.
Ooh, older brothers best friend storyline…LOVE IT! The brother and sister have a close bond and Rachel is worried about him so she goes to find him with the help of his best friend? Yeah, I’m all about it. I love these kinds of storylines and I love road trips so this has the potential to be so full of win for me. I can’t wait to read it.
This book comes out on October 16, 2012 (wow, there are a lot of fabulous books coming out in October, it seems) and I’m on pins and needles to read how this book will turn out. Mark your calendar, dear readers!

Hi Rowena!
It IS a cliche setting, but if it’s done right, then it can be great 🙂 All that I could think of as I stared at that book cover was “You’re going to get crushed by a car! Quickly, move!” But she looks dead in that position, so I’m sure drivers would halt and check up on her. Haha :)I’ll definitely be on the look out for this one in the future!
Happy reading!

Thanks for stopping by Kirthi and you’re right. She does look pretty dead just laying there in the middle of the street. Still, I’m all about this cliched storyline. I can’t wait to read it.
I like the sound of it, it’s a really good pick, and yeah, it’s true that the big brother’s friend story line is a bit cliched, but well done it’s one of my favorite 😀
