  1. I loved Batman. I mean LOVED Batman. The TV show–Adam West is still the best! The comic books–I collected them all. The Batman logo merchandise–I still have all mine, including a very special Batman charm bracelet. I kept all my Batman “stuff”. I even have a prize keepsake mini-poster of Batman & Robin which is autographed by Adam West and Burt Ward. Cool–way cool : )

  2. ranearia

I wanted to be April O’Neil from Ninja Turtles – she was so cool in her yellow jumpsuit and smart! ;D

  3. Ina

I wanted to be Sailor Moon 😉

oh wow, the books today are fantastic!! and all are on my wishlist *g*
    have a great day, Ina

  4. There wasn’t a great selection of television when I was a young, but I remember wanting to be Annie Oakley. Of course as soon as I learned to read, my ambition was to be a librarian, LOL.

  5. There wasn’t a specific person or character I wanted to be but I did want to grow up and be a geologist. Everywhere my family went I would bring home at least 5 pounds of rocks.

  6. Mary Beth

I didn’t have a hero from tv at that age or even a specific person I wanted to emulate. I just wanted to write books and do the illustrations myself.

  7. Chelsea B.

You know, there was never a certain person I wanted to be when I was a kid. I kinda just wanted to be me 🙂

  8. I wanted to be Catwoman. I had/have a crush on Batman and they make a great match. Plus, she always wore cool clothes.

  9. I wanted to be a famous singer – I didn’t care which one, I just wanted to have that talent and to be able to stand up in front of huge audiences and have everyone cheering for me.

  10. I am really showing my age. I wanted to be Marlin Perkins. He was on Wild Kingdom and got to play with all the animals. I wanted to play with all the animals.

  11. When I was five? I could mention heroes that most of you wouldn’t even recognize, but my all-time favorite was WONDER WOMAN. Boy was she built, and she was so powerful, and she was EVERYWHERE and she was sensitive and caring, and well . . . you get the picture. The Lone Ranger and the Cisco Kid came in second and third. Of course, when I was five, these were all comic book heroes with a little bit of nudging from weekly radio shows. They say the long-term memory is the last to go . . .
