Book Watch: Maybe This Time by Jennifer Crusie.

Jennifer Crusie has another book coming out and to say that I’m excited is putting it lightly. I’m ecstatic, I’m eager, anxious and every other word that means the same thing. Some of my favorite contemporaries are written by this fab author. Bet Me, Crazy for You, What the Lady Wants, Manhunting, these are all of the wonderful books that have kept me in fits of giggles and full blown laugh out loud episodes. Reading a Crusie is so freaking entertaining that when I found out she was coming out with another book, I did a happy dance.

So do a happy dance with me.

Andie Miller is ready to move on in life. She wants to marry her fiancé and leave behind everything in her past, especially her ex-husband, North Archer. And just when she thinks things couldn’t get more complicated, North shows up on the doorstep making her wonder if maybe this time things could be different between them.

If Andie can just get rid of all the guests and ghosts, she’s pretty sure she can save the kids, and herself, from the past. But fate might just have another thing in mind…

Did you hear that squealing? Yeah, that was totally me. I cannot frickin’ wait for this book and it comes out August 31, 2010 so put this book on your calendar, it promises to be just as great as Crusie’s other books and I’m sure there will be plenty of laughs along the way.
