Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Today’s Teaser comes from Demon Blood by Meljean Brook page 263 (ARC):
He was going to kill that thoughtless fuck she called a son. Force the selfish little bastard to have it out with her, whatever his problem was, not flay her like this, piece by piece.
I love, love, love Meljean’s Guardian series and can’t recommend it enough!
Okaaaay… interesting & puzzling quote? I can't wait to read this book. 🙂
I'm in the middle of this right now..Oh how I adore this series.
Umm. Can you say disfunctional family. LOL I've heard lots of people say good things about it.
Hilcia – I wish I could help but since I haven't gotten that far in the book it's hard to say! 🙂
Holly – I know, I've been a fan of the series since book one. I swear Meljean could write a grocery list and I'd be all over it! lol
Tam – I'm thinking that someone's son is a complete ass and not treating his mother right and someone else is damned upset about it! lol
Great teaser, Tracy!
Ooooh interesting teaser Tracy.. I haven't joined the legions of Meljean Brook readers out there mainly because I have no time.. lol
You picked a great quote here!!
Thanks. 😉
Wow, fab teaser.
Great teaser! I hope you will check out mine for Stephanie Meyer's latest novel The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner! Also, if you check back on my blog this Friday I have huge news about the novels I had been submitting to agents/publishers!
Sincerely,
