Another month, another fantastic author to spotlight here on Book Binge. We’ve been doing the whole author spotlight thing for a while now and I’m surprised that it’s taken us this long to spotlight one of my all time favorite authors…
..Suzanne Brockmann!
She’s an amazing author who has written some of the most fantastic love stories out in the market today. Her ability to write fabulous, realistic characters and stories that keep me salivating for more is just off the charts great and that is why she’s this month’s Author Spotlight.
Suz has a fantastic back list and I’m going to look forward to digging back into her Troubleshooters world as well as her Tall, Dark and Deadly world. Both worlds have rocked my world a time or two…or three. =)
Check out her amazing back list:

The Unsung Hero
2. Who is your favorite SB couple?
Alyssa and Sam. No, Molly and whatisface. I’m bad at names.
3. Which SB secondary character do you want to get their own book?
I loved the secondary romance in The Unsung Hero and would love to see them again.

6. Who is your least favorite SB hero? Why? Can’t remember his name, the younger guy paired with the political gal. I like beta, but he was just dull.

8. What is your favorite SB book? Can’t decide!

Letters To Kelly
Hi, so many questions. LOL.
I read most of Suzie’s books many years ago and my memory is not so good.
I got hooked on SB when I was recommended her Seals books and I read all of the “skinnies” as I called them that I could get my hands on, then went to the hd covers and mm’s. Don’t remember which skinny I picked up first.
I was lucky enuf to meet SB several years ago at Borders booksigning – when I heard about the signing, I had other plans for that day and couldnt make it. Something came up and we couldnt go, so last minute I called a friend and off we went. What a treat – SB is very well spoken and funny and I even won a book!
All her heroes are great – so really hard to pick a fav but I guess I will go with Alyssa and Sam.
Love Brockmann! I discovered her TS series a year ago and read the entire series in two months. Half I listened to on audio, which are really good, btw.
I cant wait for Izzy’s story!! I don’t care for Eden, but if that is who he choses as his heroine I’ll accept it. Sorry to hear this may be the end of TS books for a while, but I look forward to whatever else SB writes.
Sam & Allysa are my fav couple, but many close seconds. Julian of course is a favorite too.
1. The Unsung Hero
2. Stan and Teri
3. No one
4. Jules. He’s sweet,reliable and vulnerable.
5. Teri. I don’t know why, I just felt I liked her. The kind of girl I would want to be friend with.
6. Jimmy Nash. I don’t trust him. If I have to pick one character who’ll cheat on his spouse, it’s him.
7. Meg. Why? It’s kinda obvious. She’s stupid.
8. N/A. There are a couple of her books I didn’t finish though.
9. Over The Edge, Gina.
1. What was the first Suzanne Brockmann book you ever read? The first book that I ever read by SB was Into the Night. I was completely sold after that. I fell in love with the Troubleshooters then, way back in I think it was ’03 or ’04.
2. Who is your favorite SB couple? Of course, it’s Sam and Alyssa. I mean, it’s Sam and Alyssa. Chocolate syrup sex? All of those Sam quotes? Gotta love them.
3. Which SB secondary character do you want to get their own book? Izzy! I cannot wait for Izzy’s book!
4. Who is your favorite SB hero? Why? Sam Starrett. From the very beginning it’s been Sam for me. Even when he was a total ass and making idiotic choices, I loved him. I love him because he’s real. He’s not that cookie cutter hero who is perfect all the time. I love him because he’s so imperfect.
5. Who is your favorite SB heroine? Why? This is a lot harder for me because SB heroines tend to drive me insane but I think I like Mia from Frisco’s Kid because she was normal.
6. Who is your least favorite SB hero? Why? I would have to say Nilsson. His book just didn’t do it for me and I thought that he let Meg get away with too much crap.
7. Who is your least favorite SB heroine? Why? Mel Evans. Oh gosh, she was the most TSTL heroine EVER and she was so undeserving of Cowboy. Hated her so much!
8. What is your favorite SB book? As much as I love Sam and Alyssa, my favorite book is from the TDD series. Frisco’s Kid. Love.that.book.
9. What is your least favorite SB book? Hmm, as much as I hate Nilsson’s story, I didn’t hate his book, just his heroine and plus, it’s hard for me to hate that book because the chocolate syrup sex scene is in that book. It’s the beginning of Sam and Alyssa’s story. The book that I enjoyed the least would be…hmmm, I don’t know. Cowboy’s book? I can’t answer this right now.
10. If you could star yourself into one of the books, which book would it be and who would you play? I’d be Alyssa. I’d end up with Sam. Duh.
1. What was the first Suzanne Brockmann book you ever read?
The Unsung Hero – it was recommended to me by my local romance bookstore. After that, I totally glommed.
2. Who is your favorite SB couple?
Sam and Alyssa.
3. Which SB secondary character do you want to get their own book?
I’m looking forward to Izzy Zanella’s book.
4. Who is your favorite SB hero? Why? Sam Starrett. He’s just so macho and alpha and soft and sensitive at the same time. He’s gorgeous. And, he’s got the coolest nickname ever.
5. Who is your favorite SB heroine? Why? Hmmm. Too many to choose from, but probably Alyssa.
Or maybe Sophia Gaffari. They’re both very strong and totally feminine. Sophia has been through a lot and Alyssa is super competent and she’s Sam’s boss and he doesn’t mind!
6. Who is your least favorite SB hero? Why?
Um, not sure I have one.
7. Who is your least favorite SB
heroine? Why? Probably Kelly because she took too long to make up her mind about Tom. WTF??
8. What is your favorite SB book?
Heart Throb. There are many others I love, but that one is my favourite.
9. What is your least favorite SB book? Possibly one of the earlier categories or maybe All Through the Night – I was hoping for more there and felt a bit cheated – esp. that the bedroom door was closed in this one and in all her others, it’s wide open.
10. If you could star yourself into one of the books, which book would it be and who would you play?
I suppose I’d have to be Alyssa – she’s gorgeous, she kicks ass and she’s with Sam.
