Kris‘ guest review of Animal Attraction by Charlene Teglia.
Chandra Walker has a secret hidden in her genes—she’s a rare female werewolf. Now that her all-male pack has located her, it’s her destiny to sample each man’s pleasures and choose a mate from among them—a mate who will become pack leader. Soon the strongest alphas are competing to bring Chandra the most ecstasy, but only one man will claim her.
I enjoyed this book a lot. It is a shapeshifter menage book, one of my favorite combination of genres. It is a very HOT book, and she does have sexual relations with others besides the hero(s), so if that kinks you out then this is not the book for you. There is an HEA, I promise. I will say that this is also written in first person for those of you who mind that. it is not my favorite, I prefer third, but I do not mind first.
Chandra finds out that she is a female werewolf (which are very rare) she was supposed to find out years before about her genetics but as things happen, that did not. Now she has her all male pack waiting for her to pick one of them to lead the pack. All of them will try to bring her the most pleasure so that she will pick them to lead and they have one night to do it. But the needs of the pack and what her heart says might be two different men.
My biggest issue with this was probably the first person aspect. I like to see different characters’ POV and I feel like I am missing something when I only get one character’s thoughts and perspective. She does do things with the other pack members but that is over the course of one night and will not continue afterward. The purpose is to pick a new Alpha for the pack and to make the males more protective of the Alpha female. There is an antagonist in the story to give you more storyline, but i was more a sideline part of the story. It just gave it a little more edge.
If you have read Ms Teglia before and liked her you will not be disappointed. If you have not read her and like hot shapeshifters, give this one a try. I will be keeping it.

I give it a 3.75 out of 5
