Boys & Books?

I’ve recently ordered two books at my husband’s request. When I say recently, I mean that I ordered them in August. They were both hardcover political books. As far as I know, he’s only read part of one of the books and hasn’t even started the other one. This email exchange happened after he sent me a link of another book he wants that comes out in 2/09.

Look—you can get it from the library. I don’t mind buying you books…if you read them. LOL

Well almost… its more than before…

For some reason, his answer is just so cute. I don’t know why. He’ll probably be mad at me if he sees this post, but I just had to share his cuteness.

What about you? Does the man in your life read? Has he ever read a romance?

  1. That cracks me up. hahaha

MM doesn’t read much more than Jack. I think he’s read..maybe 2? books since we got together. I bought him a ton of books shortly after we started dating b/c he said he wanted them, but they’re just sitting unread on the shelves. Hmm, I wonder if I can eBay them so I can buy more myself.

    I like that idea. *g*

  2. Lori

    LOL!!

Bob reads a lot of politicavl non-fiction and military suspense (we share both of those loves, actually). But I have to admit, he drives me flippin’ crazy, cause I’ll read about 50 books in the time it takes him to finish one. Literally.

  3. My hubby reads fantasy, a smidge of scifi, and urban fantasy. He doesn’t read as much as me but he does read. He reads some of the same stuff I do and depends on me to look for stuff for him and get it from the library or he reads my copy. He does read an occasional non fiction, usually Bill Bryson or something his dad recommends.

  4. I think my husband has read, oh, about 4 books since we started dating in late 1991!!!! And those were only ones he was “forced” to read by his bosses. I think those 4 books didn’t equal 1 full novel.

My hubby? Read a romance novel? I don’t think I could pay him enough.

I got my husband to try Naked in Death and he liked it enough to read a few more. But he said he thought the sex scenes were a little too personal. 😉 — willaful
