1. Demon Bound by Meljean Brook
The world Meljean has created with her Guardians series is fantastic and I can’t wait for this book.
2. Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer
Yes, I know I said I was done with this series, but..how can I not read the last one? Besides, I need to know what’s going to happen. I still hold out hope that she’ll redeem herself.
3. Turbulent Sea by Christine Feehan
I gave up on Feehan’s Dark and Ghostwalker series ages ago, but I’m still obsessed with this one. Only one to go after this…
4. Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Seriously, does this need an explanation?
5. Loose and Easy by Tara Janzen
I go back and forth w/ this series. Some of them I love, some I hate, some I’m just eh about. We’ll see how it goes with this one.
6. Salvation in Death by J.D. Robb
I just can’t get enough of this series. I love Eve and Roarke, love the secondary characters, love the plots, love the world. Probably I’m going to need a 12 step program for this.
7. Seduce Me At Sunrise by Lisa Kleypas
So what if I still haven’t read Mine Till Midnight, I still lust after this book.
8. A Wallflower Christmas by Lisa Kleypas
I love the Wallflower series and I think this one looks really cute. Besides, there’s St. Vincent. Nuff said.
9. Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You by Judith McNaught
I have serious doubts about whether or not this will actually ever be published, but I’m keeping it on my list regardless.
10. Hostage to Pleasure by Nalini Singh
I love the Psy/Changeling series and can’t wait for the next installment.
11. Kill for Me by Karen Rose
This is the 3rd book in her For Me trilogy and I can’t wait to finally get Susannah’s story.
12. Flashback by Jill Shalvis
That cover is hot, I don’t care who you are. Scorching, even. YUMMA!
13. What I Did For Love by Susan Elizabeth Phillips
No cover or blurb yet for this one, but I still want it. Come on, it’s SEP!!
Honorable Mention: Number 14 on my list goes to Robyn Carr’s Grace Valley Trilogy. I didn’t include them in my original 13 because they’re reprints. I loved her Virgin River series and can’t wait to read these, which are a prequel of sorts to VR.
So there you go, 13 (ok, 16, really, but who’s counting?) books I want for my Birthday. Come on, make my day, hook me up w/ some early copies. You know you want to…
Yes, agree. You may have to save #9for your next birthday.
That says alot because I don’t even know when your b-day is.
mph
Ditto #7, #8, & #14. I want them for your birthday, too because mine isn’t until next April 🙂
Book 1 and 2 I am craving also 😀
No.1, 4, 6, 9, 10, 11 and 14 🙂 Those are the ones I’m looking forward to and I want them badly. I’m going to start stalking Chapters/Indigo online today for no.14 🙂
Many of those are on my wishlist too. I just never read the Stephanie Meyer series, Karen Rose (But I do have a couple of hers in my TBR) and never read Robyn Carr, not her Virgin River series either. I’ve not heard of her until recently. What author would you compare her to? What sort of sensuality are her books? I do enjoy small town stories and the like, like these.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news – but the McNaught has been pushed back….again. Last date I saw was late September 2009.
Despite that unpleasantness….
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I tell ya, Acheron is being held to some VERY big standards.
I hope to hell it is not a big flop.
Lets hope it’s a page eater.
(lol)
