Reader warning: This book has many m/f/m encounters.
Lora Leigh’s Bound Heart series is like book crack to me. I’m shamefully addicted. It doesn’t matter how unbelieveable the storyline is. Lora Leigh has come a long way from her Ellora’s Cave days. The writing is better and her storylines are actually semi-believeable. The woman also knows how to write sex scenes. If I was a writer, I imagine that I would not stop blushing while trying to write such a scene.
Jaci Wright has been drawn to Cam Falladay since she was a little girl. Her feelings for Cam didn’t turn sexual for years and even then she ignored the gossip about the Falladay brothers. On the night Cam finally acts on his feelings for Jaci, he thinks that she understands exactly what he wants and needs. He couldn’t have been more wrong. What happened that night caused Jaci to flee the Oklahoma town she grew up in.
Six years have passed since that fateful night. 27 year old Jaci has long since admitted to herself that it wasn’t Cam and his twin brother Chase that made her run. It was her own feelings. Now her interior designing services have been retained by Ian Sinclair, a man that both Cam and Chase work for. Though she’s admitted her fear of what Cam expects from her, she’s far from comfortable with the feelings that envokes.
Cam has waited for Jaci for longer than six years. Now that he has her, he will not let her go. But there’s a secret in his past that not even Chase knows, that may ruin what he has with Jaci before it even has a chance. Cam refuses to let that happen. Cam is determined to bind her the only way he knows how…with sexual pleasure.
Overall, this was a pretty good book. Cam’s internal struggle with his feelings for Jaci was really heartbreaking to read. He didn’t want to hold back from her, but he felt that if he gave her everything, it would include his secret. The secret was one that a man like Cam would never want anyone to know, let alone the woman he loves. Jaci was a likeable heroine in that she refused to give up on Cam, even when he pushed her away. There was a small suspense plot thrown in for good measure. While it wasn’t completely out of place in the story, the resolution was a bit eye-rolling.
4 out of 5.

I just got the first book in this series…it’ll take me a little time to make my way to Wicked Pleasure, but I’m looking forward to it.
Casee, could you clarify something?
You wrote “Reader warning: This book has many m/m/f encounters.”
That’s not a typo? You didn’t mean m/f/m? Because if it’s m/m/f, then does that also mean this book contains incest between the twins, too?
Bev, I’m changing that now. Thanks for pointing that out. There was absolutely NO incest in this book.
Do the books in this series need to be read in order or can they be stand alones?
Kris, they can be read out of order. You won’t be lost at all.
