It’s funny, you were just having this discussion about being age-ist with your heroines, and I was feeling age-ist about Jake, like, this hero is a bit young. But of course, at the same time he’s 100 or more, right?

I agree about Jake. He seemed so young in DN, I’m not sure how I feel about it. But I wasn’t at all convinced Colin could carry his own book after I read DA, and he turned out amazing. I think Meljean is just too good at what she does. 😛

I wonder if Demon Bound will be a bit more lighthearted from the other books because Jacob is always having fun and cracking jokes. But then Alice is very much the opposite.
