Worst Reads of 2007

While working on our Best Of lists for 2007, we started talking about the worst books we’d read as well. It’s not very often you see Worst of lists around, mostly it’s just the Best of this and the Best of that. But we said we’d be honest when we started this blog and honestly? There were some bad reads for us in 07.

Without further ado:

Holly’s List:

1) A Year of You by Adra Steia
2) Office Slave by JW McKenna
3) Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer
4) Raintree: Sanctuary by Beverly Barton
5) What’s that book by Audra and Stella Price

Casee’s List:

1. A Year of You by Adra Steia
2. Office Slave by J.W. McKenna
3. Lover Unbound by J.R. Ward
4. Ben’s Wildflower by Carol Lynne
5. The Suicide Club by Gayle Wilson

I have one runner up. Lawman by Diana Palmer. I don’t really feel right about saying it was one of my worst reads. She stayed true to Palmer form in Lawman. It was a train wreck for me.

Wena’s List:

1. Sugar and Sin by Stella and Audra Price.
2. Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer.
3. Midnight Brunch by Marta Acosta.

Sugar and Sin will always leave a bad taste in my mouth and because of authors behaving badly, I’ll never read another Stella Price book again because well…BLAH! As for Eclipse, turning Jacob into a whiny baby pissed me off just as much as turning Bella into a retarded hussy did and Midnight Brunch made me yawn a lot so I never finished it…hands down these three were my worst reads of ’07.
