Poor Nina Bangs often got the shaft in the cover art department back in the day. HIS FACE YOU GUYS. And HE HAS A MULLET! OMG.

This author is a favorite here at Book Binge, but this cover (and the other series reboots) were a major mistake. This isn’t one of my favorite books by SEP, but that cover is…whoa. That’s a lotta boob in the face, yannow?

I actually have today’s book in my TBR pile. But this cover? No thanks. It probably wouldn’t be so bad if he weren’t standing the way he is. With his shoulders back and his chin tipped…I don’t know. It just doesn’t work for me.
