Saw this on cupcakegirly’s Instagram and had a good laugh, so I’m bringing it to the blog so you can share in my smile for the day:
My romance novel name is Waverly Running-Navel, LMAO! What is yours?

Author Jessie Lane sent this to me and it was too funny not to share. Sung to the tune of Sir-Mix-A Lot’s Baby Got Back:
That when a writer walks in with an itty bitty pen
And an autograph in your face
You get sprung
Wanna pull up tough
Cuz you notice that book was stuffed
Deep in the cover it’s wearing
I’m hooked and I can’t stop staring
Oh, baby I wanna get with ya
And read your scripture
My book club tried to warn me
But that cover model you got
Make Me so horney
Ooh, Mr. Show-Me-Some-Skin
You say you want me to read you in bed
Well excuse me excuse me I won’t be your book groupy
I see them pages turnin’
hot and sexy with romancin’
It’s Sweat, Wet, got it goin’ like a character set
I’m tired of magazines
Saying ebooks are the thing
Take the average hardback and ask it that
If it has enough pages to stack
So Readers (yeah!) Reviewers(yeah!)
Has your book got the cover lust (hell yeah!)
Well shake it, shake it, shake it, Paul Marron shake that healthy butt!
Baby got book!
I can’t remember where I first saw this meme, but the questions sounded fun.
1. One romance book you’ve read more than once. Paradise by Judith McNaught.
2. One romance book you want on a desert island. Lady Be Good by Susan Elizabeth Phillips.
3. One romance book that made you laugh. For the Love of Pete by Julia Harper.
4. One romance book that made you cry. Scandal by Carolyn Jewel
5. One romance book you wish you had written. Naked in Death by J.D. Robb.
6. One romance book you wish you could alter the ending of. A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux. I hated this ending even more than the ending of Lover Unbound.
7. One romance book you are currently reading. Blood Magic by Jennifer Lyon.
8. One romance book you have meant to read. Pride and Prejudice. (let the stoning begin)
9. One romance book that changed you or your views in some way. Rough Canvas by Joey W. Hill.
10. One romance book made into a movie that you liked both the book & the movie. The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks.
What about you? If you feel like doing this meme, feel free to leave your link here. I’d love to read some of your answers!
I’m pretty sure I’ve taken this quiz before – probably with similar results. I bet you’re all surprised, aren’t you? ha!

What Kind of Reader Are You? Quiz Created on GoToQuiz |
In September we interviewed Jill Shalvis and invited her to play with us for a day. This month we’ve asked her to come back. She’s writing a guest post for us which we plan to post soon in keeping with our Instant Attraction Month. She also said she’d be willing to do another Q&A, but we thought this time we’d change things up a bit.
We’ve interviewed Jill Shalvis a couple of times and have asked her every question we’ve ever wanted to ask her so now it’s your turn, dear readers. Do you have a burning question that you’re dying to ask her but haven’t asked yet? Is there something about her characters that you’re dying to know about? Are you curious about any future stories she might have in the hopper? Well, Book Binge is giving you a chance to get your questions answered.
All you have to do is either leave us a comment on this thread and ask your question for Jill or just shoot us a quick email over at admin@thebookbinge.com and we’ll make sure that your questions get sent over to Jill for answers.
Easy peasy, right? Well, let’s make this Author Interview a good one guys, let’s put our journalistic hats on and start asking those questions everyone is dying to know but too shy to ask! We’ll be accepting questions up until January 20, 2009 so make sure that you get those questions into us as soon as you can.
Ready, Set, Go, Go, Go….
Enjoy,
Holly, Rowena and Casee
