In an effort to shine the spotlight on Suz as best we can, we reached out to our fellow bloggers to help us this month.

Today, we’re fortunate to have C2 from csquared’s all around blog on the blog to share with us why she loves Suzanne Brockmann. C2 is one of our most favorite people around blogland and Twitter. Her sparkly personality never fails to bring a smile to my face. She’s awesome guys.

So read along to find out why C2 loves Suz so much!

Long, long ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth and there were no blogs and no Twitter (oh, the horror!!), I relied on a couple of online bulletin boards for reading recommendations. Not too long after I started lurking on my favorite (now defunct) board, people were raving about a recently released book – the hero was fabulous, the writing was fun, it was such an enjoyable read, etc. and all were encouraged to track it down immediately. Like a good sheep, I followed the crowd, listened to the recommendation and found the book on my next trip to the bookstore. What was this rave-worthy book? Prince Joe by Suzanne Brockmann.

Yup, I started reading Suz early and she has been a favorite from the very beginning. I traveled along with the Tall, Dark and Dangerous guys on their adventures and found my way to Suz’s (now defunct) bulletin board where I witnessed, among other things, the best response to a bad cover EVER. After the original release of Get Lucky, there was much wailing about how the most gorgeous of all the TDD guys ended up looking like the Pillsbury Doughboy on his book cover…Suz’s response was an offer to send out smiley face stickers to cover up the creepy face on the book cover – and she posted a scan of her copy with said smiley in place. LOL

Why have I been a fan from the very first book I read to Suz’s most recent release? Easy answer – the guys. Not just the hero – although she writes excellent heroes – I’m talking about all the guys that inhabit Suz’s worlds. The way they interact with each other rings so true to me and the way they are with the women seems true most of the time, as well, as misguided as they sometimes are, poor guys. Sometimes I struggle with the female characters but never with the guys…I don’t doubt they could step right out of Suz’s world and into mine. Umm…yes, please? 😉

Thanks C2 for stopping by Book Binge today to help us shine that spotlight on a most deserving author, SUZANNE BROCKMANN!

So why do you love Suz so much?
