Well Alabama isn’t my home but I’ve seen an awful lot of it since I’ve been here.  This morning we got up early and drove to Lynchburg, Tennessee and went to the Jack Daniels Distillery. It was a great drive even though it was pouring rain. I wish I could have seen the scenery better but it was still pretty.

Jack Daniels Distillery is an interesting place to say the least.  That Distillery is the only place in the worl dthat makes Jack Daniels.  It was quite  a tour and we had a great time. Funny that you can buy a commemorative bottle of Jack while you’re there.  But Lynchburg is in a “dry” county which means that you can’t buy alcohol anywhere in the county.  The tour guide was sure to mention that you were actually buying the bottle and just got the Jack for free that was inside the bottle. lol  You couldn’t take pictures in the distillery but my sister Ann and I managed to get a picture with Jack Daniels himself.

After that we headed home, picked up Ann’s husband who went with us to the NASA Space Center in Huntsville.

We got to see a movie about the Hubble which was really interesting and then got to see the museum which told all about the space program, astronauts and even had a Saturn that we could walk under. That thing’s freakin HUGE! lol  Ann and I even got to be astronauts!

We’re apparently super short…Like…carnie astronauts! lol
