Casee: I had virtually no time to read in November. I should have realized how much time and effort it takes to remodel a house, but I didn’t anticipate the complete chaos. Anyhoo, my life is like a small serious of crisis that need to be diverted or solved daily. That doesn’t leave me much time to read because I need to sleep sometime.
Ride Hard by Laura Kaye | 3.75 out of 5
Ride Rough by Laura Kaye | 3.5 out of 5
Both books are from Kaye’s Raven Riders series. I really have enjoyed this series and am currently trying to read the third book. The third book is proving to be the best so far and I’m dying to get farther into it. Out of the two, Ride Hard was the better book to me, but I still had issues. If I ever review Ride Rough I can tell you what I can’t get past.
Holly: I had very little reading time in November, so I mostly just re-read Kristen Ashley novels.

My favorite new read of the month was Complicated by Kristen Ashley, but that’s not totally fair since I didn’t read anything but KA all month. Ha. My least favorite was A Highlander’s Hope by Terri Brisbin, the only story I read in the Christmas in Kilts anthology. I’m not sure if it was me or the story, but it didn’t grab me. I may try to go back to it (and the others in the collection) at some point since I’ve been in a weird reading funk lately.
Rowena: November was a busy month for me both at work and at home. My daughter is back in the thick of a basketball season, playing all over Southern California and things at work have picked up for me. That didn’t stop me from getting some books read. I’m really proud that I powered through a reading slump to get some great books read. Here’s what I read last month…
Changing the Game (Play by Play #2) by Jaci Burton | 4 out of 5
Hate to Want You (Forbidden Hearts #1) by Alisha Rai | 4 out of 5
Wrong to Need You (Forbidden Hearts #2) by Alisha Rai | 4 out of 5
Head Coach (Hellions Angels #2) by Lia Riley | 4 out of 5
Hard Cherish (Hard Play #1) by Nalini Singh | 4 out of 5
Bountiful (True North #4) by Sarina Bowen | 4.75 out of 5
Hooking Up (Shacking Up #2) by Helena Hunting | 4.25 out of 5
The Ones that Got Away (The Ones that Got Away #1) by Roni Loren | 4 out of 5
Roomies by Christina Lauren | 3.75 out of 5
My favorite book of the month is Bountiful by Sarina Bowen. I just adored this story to pieces. From Zara to Dave to seeing the Brooklyn Bruisers and the True North folks come together in this book, I just loved the hell out of it.
My least favorite read of the month is Roomies by Christina Lauren and that’s mainly because the beginning of the book dragged and I felt it took way too long for the story to take off. It ended up being a solid story and I liked it but it wasn’t my favorite.

My favorite read of the month wasn’t the one I liked best (that was Cherish Hard by Nalini Singh because, well it’s Nalini Singh) but my favorite discovery of the month: Keeping Score by Sara Rider, a new to me author. With diverse characters and great sexual tension, I enjoyed every bit of it.
My least favorite: Because of Lila by Abbi Glines.
My least favorite book of the month was by Maya Banks; it was a recent book and the blurb sounded appealing, but the story didn’t pull me in so I stopped reading. It was Just One Touch.
Some favorites this month were Linesman by S. K. Dunstall, A Conspiracy in Belgravia by Sherry Thomas, Ghost Planet by Sharon Lynn Fisher, and Cassandra’s Challenge by M. K. Eidem.
I’ve read all of this months Monthly Reads but I don’t own Complicated so would choose that were I to win.
I have really enjoyed the Raven Riders series, they are so fun!! And the Sarina Bowen’s series is so great, her writing is wonderful.
I’m sad to hear that Roomies wasn’t just all out amazing, but it’s probably a good thing that my expectations for the book are a little lowered now.
My favorite read was Hold Me by Courtney Milan. My least favorite was Defending Hearts by Shannon Stacey which was just so-so for me.
I would love to win Bountiful. Thanks for the chance!
My favorite I read in Nov. was the loan shark duet by charmaine pauls and my least fav. was Preppy part 2. I would love Complicated. Thank You.
I didn’t do a lot of reading this month, so I didn’t have a least favorite. I read and enjoyed Someone to Wed by Mary Balogh, Please enter me for any book.
My favorites in November were A Dragon’s Family Album from Thea Harrison (3 Dragos/Pia novellas in a box set) and Edge of Dreams, a UF, second book in a series from Diana Pharaoh Francis. I also finally started Nalini Singh’s Psy/Changeling series and I’m hooked. My least favorite book was The Heart of a Texas Cowboy by Linda Broday. Unfortunately, I just didn’t click with her writing style.
I’d love to win either Bountiful or Complicated. Both sound great and they are two of my favorite authors.
liked Dan Brown’s origin
worst read – Jeanne Moon’s Until You
