Today was the first day of school for my girls. They were so very excited about starting…I hope it lasts. It was nice to see my oldest excited about it since she hates school. Maybe things are changing – that would be wonderful.
So I go to grab the camera this morning and my hubby informs me that it’s at his work because he was showing pictures of Sturgis to people at work. ARG! 2 things about that really bugged me.
A. He hasn’t shown me shit in the picture department – ass.
Update: So I asked my hubby about this and he said he didn’t think I’d want to see them. So he got the camera out last night and let me just say…my husband is such a guy!! OMG I’ve not seen that many pictures of boobs in my life! lol What a perv! 🙂 I think though it’s more the “Holy Shit” factor in that he truly can’t believe that people walk around like this. Whatever. He hit delete all right after he showed me though so I know he’s not going back to take a peek…and frankly why would he want to?? 🙂
B. Download the pictures to a CD and then take it to work! Don’t take the friggin camera! lol
So we ended up taking pictures with hubby’s blackberry and they’re kinda dark and they’re kinda blurry but as you know I love showing off pictures of my kids so here they are.
Update: So the girls had a fabulous day for their first day. They both LOVE their teachers (we’ll see if that continues) and can hardly wait for homework to start. They said that and I got out the thermometer to see if they were sick. Really. Crazy kids.
Absolutely adorable! Can’t wait to find out how their days went. Hopefully everyone will come home smiling and excited for a great year. 🙂
Oh! They are so cute!!!
Thanks guys…I personally think they’re adorable but I’m their mom! lol
Christine – I’m curious to see how their days go as well – I’ll keep you posted.
Wow, school already!!
Those are great pictures even if they are a bit blurry. They still mark the moment.
I remember Devin’s first day of kindergarten and getting on the bus. I’m out there in my jammies trying to get a good shot of him taking that first step and trying not to cry. All my shots came out blurred!!
I hope they had a great day today!
Awwwwwwwwww — such cutie patooties!!!
You have every right to be proud, Tracykins! They’re adorable!
*HUGS*
Paisley
Amy – I know! School sucks! lol Just kidding. I still can’t believe my oldest is in 5th grade! I remember MY 5th grade year quite clearly. Does that mean that I’m not as old as I think?
Paisley – Aw – thanks…like I said I think they’re cuties but I’m prejudiced! Hey thanks for stopping by!
Aaaahhhh…they’re so cute. At least they were happy to go. I seem to remember being sick every single first day of school. So sick that I’d hide in the nurse’s office for most of the day. I HATED school. Ick!
Your kids are so cute!!!
My kids are so ready to start next Tuesday!
First day go well?
Today was my sons first day. Here the Junior high and High school kids start 6 days before the elementary kids.
Cant believe my son is in 11th grade!!!!!!!!!
Hope they continue to like school!
*barf* lmao!!!!!
Bridget – I’m with you – I didn’t care for school either. I liked being with my friends though! 🙂
Steph – OMG your son’s in 11th grade already? Holy cow when did that happen? lol
Tracy, I always love reading your blog….I need to get my ass in gear and make it here more often. Your girls are so cute! My boy starts first grade on the 25th and is so excited. I am with you, I hope it lasts!
Drea! Can you believe our little ones are in first grade already? Weren’t they JUST starting Kindergarten?? Time goes so quickly! And yes, you DO need to get your ass here more often! lol Muah!
Oh so cute!! OMG love the shorts combo and that skirt LOL this is the only time you will ever hear me say this but:
This is why I would have kids (first day of school pics LOL) I still have all the ones my mom took.
SO CUTE!!! aww. What grades are they in?
Sarai – Thanks! I found that little outfit at Kohl’s and bought it for her without her there – which I hate doing since she inevitably hates what I get…but she loved that one. Thank heavens!
Ciara – thank you! The oldest is in 5th grade and the youngest in 1st. They look incredibly short since my hubby took them from his height. Of course they’re not real tall anyway, but my 5th grader looks like a midget! lol
