My guest review for Kiss of Fate by Deborah Cook is now posted at The Book Binge! You can read it here.

For millennia, the shape-shifting dragon warriors known as the Pyr have commanded the four elements and guarded the earth’s treasures. But now the final reckoning between the Pyr, who count humans among the earth’s treasures, and the Slayers, who would eradicate both humans and the Pyr who protect them, is about to begin.

Haunted by dreams of a lover who takes the form of a dragon, Eileen Grosvenor searches for the truth. She never expects to find a real dragon shape shifter, let alone one who awakens her passion and ignites memories of a forgotten past.

Erik Sorensson is focused on leading the Pyr against the Slayers when a powerful ancient relic reveals itself. Erik tries to retrieve it from Eileen’s possession—and is shocked by a fury of passion. Her presence touches him in unexpected ways, reminding him of mistakes he’s determined not to make again, and Erik is forced to make a choice—duty or love.

  1. I have the first or second book in my tbr pile but haven’t gotten around to it yet. I seem to be avoiding paranormals like the plague lately, and I’m sure I’m missing out on a lot of great stories. Just not enough time in my day.

  2. You won! Yes, you did! 🙂

Raw Footage since you'd already read Breaking The Silence. If you've read RF let me know & I'll choose another winner. 🙂

Hope you're having a great day!!!

PS. I'm writing like CRAZY. I hope to have something to send to you soon. Bwa-ha-ha

  3. Stacy – I understand. I sometimes have to make myself read certain books and then they end up being great. I try to read at least 1 contemp, 1 historical and 1 paranormal each week so I don’t fall too far out of the loop. 🙂

LotR – Thank you! That’s very cool – I really liked Breaking the Silence so I’m sure I’ll like RF!

  4. This is one of the (many) books in my TBR pile. I really enjoyed the others and your review makes this one look interesting too.

Oh, and I picked up the Shiloh Walker’s the other day so I’m a happy girl!
