Tuesday Teaser – Lion’s Heat

Posted June 8, 2010 by Tracy in Reviews | 12 Comments

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Today’s Teaser comes from Lion’s Heat by Lora Leigh page 223:
There was no pleasure so great as holding her to him, feeling the soft, hesitant little licks and sucks against the agonized flesh of his tongue.

The more she gave him, the more he wanted.

  1. Thanks for commenting Lorin – I checked out your teaser – pretty funny. 🙂

Chris – I've only read the first chapter and I'm hooked already. Hopefully it will be good! Now off to Lily's!

  2. I am still working on this series and loving it! I can't wait to get to this one, but I am a ways away from that just yet. Enjoy!

    My teaser is here.

  3. Tam

Hmmm. Why does she sound like a puppy? Or a kitten. Maybe it's just out of context. LOL

At least mine had a talking horse. 😛

  4. Aimee – It's a very constant series. I don't remember reading a bad one.

Jennifer – thanks for stopping by – I checked out your teaser – very good!

Lily – I've really enjoyed the series. It's not one that I need to run out and buy when it's published (at least I'm not any longer) but I like them when I'm reading them.

Tam – LOL It's because he has uh, well, mating glands on his tongue that she's attracted to and that's why she's licking them. I guess it would sound weird if you haven't read the series. 🙂
And I loved your talking horse!

  5. I look forward to hearing what you think of this as I…bypassed Bengal's Heart and I'm now dithering over Lion's Heat.

And my contribution, from Magic Bleeds (Ilona Andrews):

Obviously, common wisdom had once again proven itself wrong.

LOL! I love Kate Daniel's dry humour.
