Thanks for having me here today to talk about my
newest release, LEAN ON ME.
newest release, LEAN ON ME.
I’ve written over thirty single titles, category
romances, shorts and novellas. Every book is a process and some are harder to
write than others. But I’ve learned one thing…I love dark-haired heroes. Yes, I
admit it. Maybe that’s because I’m married to one in real life. Not sure, but it is rare for me to
write a hero with blond hair.

I think back to the male characters on television
shows and heroes in books who capture my attention. Most – not all, but the
overwhelming majority – fit into the Tall, Dark and Handsome category. Add in flawed, stubborn and rough-around-the-edges,
and I’m in love. I’m hesitant to admit this but I haven’t read the J.D. Robb
series. I keep meaning to but there are so many books that I go to start and
then think about the commitment I’m about to make (because I tend to read every
book in a series once I start) and I get twitchy. But a friend described the hero Roarke as dark and handsome
the other day and now I’m determined to start the series as soon as my next
deadline is over.

And the hero in this book – Mitch? Tall, Dark and Handsome. In my head he looked like this:
In real life – Misha Collins |
At least I’m consistent.
