Gracie Evans is a woman tired of the men in her life not satisfying her in bed. She’s had a string of boyfriends, but none of them have come close to satisfying the vivid fantasies she has. Two weeks before Valentine’s Day, she breaks up with her latest boyfriend after a night of lackluster sex.
When her good friend, Luke Forsythe, overhears her talking to their friend Michelle about what she really wants, he’s stunned. And very turned on. Gracie thinks there isn’t a man alive who can satisfy her in bed. Luke aims to prove her wrong.
Gracie was a kick-ass heroine. She knew what she wanted in life and she wasn’t afraid to get it. You have to admire a character like that.
After breaking up w/ her boyfriend b/c of their differences in the bedroom, Gracie tells her friend Michelle that she doesn’t think there’s a man that can satisfy her. She knows that she’s not a freak, but Gracie has learned that it’s not easy finding someone who wants to be adventurous in the bedroom. Little does she know that one of her best friends, Luke, is listening in on her conversation.
Luke can’t believe what he heard when he was eavesdropping on Gracie and Michelle. He also can’t believe how turned on he is when he thinks about giving Gracie what she obviously wants. Determined to be the man that she needs, Luke starts a campaign to show Gracie that there is a man that can satisfy her.
This is a friends-to-lovers book plot, something I always enjoy reading. Both Gracie and Luke take a chance, knowing that it could affect their friendship at the end. I just loved how Gracie went after what she wanted. And once she decided she wanted Luke, well, that’s that.
This is actually the 2nd book in the trilogy, but I reviewed them out of order (bad Casee). If you’re looking for a good erotica series to read, this is it.
4 out of 5.
This book is available from Samhain Publishing. You can buy it here in e-format.
Other books in the series:
Don’t forget: Buy a Book, Win $100
Thank you Casee!
Hmmm…I haven’t read any of this series, but then I have yet to enter the world of eBooks 🙂 I do have Bet Me at home and I am looking forward to reading that.
OOPS! Sorry, that should read ‘Be With Me’.
Casee, I’m loving your reviews of Ms Banks work.
Did I mention that I want? 😀
Looks nice. I love friends-to-lovers plots too. From your review it sounds like a regular M/F book though; then, who is the second man on the cover?
