Susan Donovan is one of those great contemporary authors that seem to be so rare these days. I still remember reading my He Loves Lucy. It was one of those books that I bought soley based on the cover. What can I say? I have a weakness for cupcakes. I was blown away by it. I remember gushing to Holly about what a great book it was.
The Girl Most Likely To… is standard SD fare. My review will be going up in a week or so. I think that contemporary fans will really like this book.
Have you read Susan Donovan? What’s your favorite SD book?
I never have read Ms. Donovan’s book. I’m looking forward to your review of this book, it sounds like it would be enjoyable. (=
I’ve read all of her books and while I loved some more than others, I haven’t read one yet that I didn’t like.
He Loves Lucy is definitely one of the better ones. So is Public Displays of Affection. I heart that book. Take a Chance on Me is awesome, too.
Oh, I lied. One book by her I didn’t care for was Knock Me Off My Feet. I just couldn’t get into it and it ended up being a DNF.
I read this one, it started off really well, and I LOVED the main couple’s relationship but then so many things happen and there is one particular deux ex machina that I was very disappointed with. I can’t wait to see what you girls think.
Hmmm, I’ve read a few SD books and I’m anxious to read this one as well.
I absolutely love Susan Donovan. I read all her books and wait impatiently for this one. It had been too long for the new SD release.
I love Knock me off my feet. It is her first book and make me her fan. But it is The Kept woman that I think is the best (for now).
