I’m a little peeved at BooksOnBoard right now.
Holly sent me an email with the title “$99 Sony Reader, Bestsellers, and More!“.
Now, I assumed that maybe the Sony Reader was on sale for Mother’s Day or something. I owned a Sony Reader and personally didn’t really care for it. But Holly wouldn’t mind having one. I think she got all excited until I emailed her to ask if she had an extra $500.
If you really want to check out the “deal” that BooksOnBoard has going on, you can go here. Or if you are feeling charitable and have $600 to fork over, feel free to email us.
That’s the mother of all hyperboles, isn’t it?
Drop six benjies? like crazy, thanks.
omg! $99.00 when you buy our 500 gift package? wtf? That’s just wrong. And why would you want to put out $500.00 for the ereader when you can go an get one (according the them) for $299.00???
I share your annoyance. Gah.
You can get it for free… if you buy the $1000 gift certificate. WOW – what a deal. *heavy sarcasm*
This might be the stupidest marketing ploy I’ve ever seen. Completely tone deaf. I haven’t bought from them, and with this, I never will.
Wow. That’s just…I mean…huh???
Maybe they think consumers are stupid?
What the eff? (my equivalent of cursing ha) whoever thought of this promo need an insanity check.
