I have long been a fan of Christine Feehan. Unlike some people *coughCaseecough* I was able to give up the crack that is her Dark series years ago, but I still haven’t been able to get off the Drake Sisters series.
Hidden Currents is the 7th and final book in the series. The series centers on 7 sisters, each with some magical ability. Elle is the one I’ve been most curious about throughout. She’s the 7th daughter of 7 daughters and filled with all 7 magical powers. But she’s also been blessed (or cursed?) with the responsibility of carrying on the family line. Which means she has to have 7 daughters of her own, each who will have some magical ability of their own.
That’s a heavy responsibility for any woman, but imagine finding a man willing to take that on….Exactly. Jackson has been a prominent character throughout the series, but we still don’t know much about him. He’s quiet, closed off, and obviously wounded emotionally. He and Elle have a deep connection, but we haven’t been told much about it yet. We know it’s there, though, and I, for one, can’t wait to find out more. About both of them.

You know, I feel the same way about her vampire series, it just got a bit flat for me. But I love the Drake sisters and already pre-ordered a copy of Hidden Currents.
I have only read the Drake sisters from Feehan and I am waiting with baited breath for this even if the last couple of books disappointed.
I’ve read the first three in the Dark series and the first in the Drake Sisters. I’ve ordered more and can’t wait to read them. This book sounds great. Was Jackson the policeman?
