  1. I do love historicals, fav, well I must go with my first love so to say Wild Hunt by Elizabeth Chadwick, I was young, read it and had to get everything by her

  2. I love historicals, I love Julie Garwood’s The Secret but of more recent date Paula Quinn’s Laird of the Mist, I like all her historicials so far.

Ii’m currently in a historical binge, devoring all books. One of my fav authors is Julia Quinn. The Viscount and I is my favorite book. But i really love her Bridgerton series!

  4. My favorite is another Julie Garwood book: Kingdom of Dreams by Judith McNaught. When she kneels to her husband on the tourney field, I always get the chills.

Also, anything by Julie Garwood…The Gift, Castles, Saving Grace…I could go on and on.

  5. I absolutely love historical romances. I actually began reading romances because of Julie Garwood’s early historicals. These days I’m in love with Lisa Kleypas novels, especially the wallflower series (The Devil in Winter is my favorite).

  6. I absolutely love historical romances. I actually began reading romances because of Julie Garwood’s early historicals. These days I’m in love with Lisa Kleypas novels, especially the wallflower series (The Devil in Winter is my favorite).

  7. I love historicals, so picking a favorite is really hard. I can narrow it down to 4: Julie Garwood’s RANSOM, Lisa Kleypas’ DREAMING OF YOU, Julia Quinn’s THE VISCOUNT WHO LOVED ME, and Loretta Chase’s LORD OF SCOUNDRELS.

  8. Oh, so hard to pick just one, but I’d have to say as far as favorite authors: Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas, Julie Garwood, and Diana Gabaldon.

I haven’t read any of the books in today’s bag, but they all sound good! 😀

    Enjoy!

  9. I love historical romances and have too many favorites to list. Some of my favorite authors are: Victoria Dahl, Jule Quinn, and Elizabeth Hoyt.

  10. I get chills during the tourney scene in Kingdom of Dreams too.

Judith McNaught (Kingdom of Dreams fave!) and Catherine Coulter (The Sherbrooke Series).

  11. So many! Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas, Amanda Quick, Elizabeth Hoyt, and Tessa Dare to name a few. I can’t think of one book that stands out more than the others. I usually have a few favorites for each author. 🙂

  12. My favorite is Skye O-Malley by Bertrice Small. The heroine’s life was such a rollercoaster, and I liked the fact that she loved different men in different phases of her life.

  13. I don’t know if I can leave just one…but my fav historical writer may be Lisa Kleypas. I LOVE her work and her Wallflower series have been re-read tons of times. 🙂

Hands down its Elizabeth Hoyt. She’s new but she can write a GREAT story. “Raven Prince” has huge creases in the spine from my 100th reading of it.
