Parker Shelton pretty much has the perfect life. She’s on her way to becoming valedictorian at Hundred Oaks High, she’s made the all-star softball team, and she has plenty of friends. Then her mother’s scandal rocks their small town and suddenly no one will talk to her.
Now Parker wants a new life.
So she quits softball. Drops twenty pounds. And she figures why kiss one guy when she can kiss three? Or four. Why limit herself to high school boys when the majorly cute new baseball coach seems especially flirty?
But how far is too far before she loses herself completely?
I really enjoyed reading Catching Jordan, so when I heard that Kenneally was releasing a companion novel, I was excited. I’m super duper excited to read this one, even if it’s got an inappropriate teacher/coach and student relationship in it. I’m hoping against hope that the baseball coach doesn’t give in to temptation and Parker comes to her senses so I’m willing to give this book a try. I’m crossing my fingers that the guy pictured on the cover is NOT the baseball coach. I’m most curious about the scandal that involves Parker’s Mom. What’s that about?
I’m also hoping that we’ll get to see some Henry and Jordan action too. I liked those two. This book comes out on October 1, 2012 so we still have a bit of a wait for it but I’m pretty certain that I’ll enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed Catching Jordan.
Is anyone else excited for this book like me? I can’t wait!
..and that’s your scoop!

It sounds good. But I can’t for the life of me remember who Parker is :/
My memory sucks 😉
UGH I do NOT want to wait until October for this.
And now I want to re-read Catching Jordan. LOL
@Ames- Do you remember who Parker was? Cause like Alex, I can’t remember either.
I don’t want to wait until October either but I have so many books to read before then that I’m sure it’ll whiz right by. That doesn’t stop me from being anxious for it.
