This author has lately made quite a splash with her f/f historical romances. I’ve enjoyed her The Care and Feeding of Waspish Widows and The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics. When you feel a personal connection—like a cover model looking like your daughter—you’re just not going to be able to read the book. A few years ago, I had to stop reading a book almost immediately when I discovered that the hero had the exact name—first and last—as one of my daughter’s former boyfriends. I knew I couldn’t read a romance with THAT particular visual in my head! Lol
She does look rather young…
