This book got pretty good reviews and a trusted friend said she enjoyed it. I’m not sure how I feel about a “moth man” romance, but that’s neither here nor there. What really bothers me about this cover is her face. There’s something very…smooshed about it. Or something.
Ignore the cover (which, I admit, isn’t the greatest thing ever) and read anything C.M. Nascosta has written. Her books are set in a world where humans, mythological creatures, and anthropomorphized animals live and work and interact with each other. My favorite is MORNING GLORY MILKING FARM (with a human heroine and a minotaur hero), but I also enjoyed GIRLS WEEKEND (two books of the trilogy have been published so far) about three females elves and their relationships with three male orcs (one of whom is part fae).
