This cover is…weird. Seriously, it’s just weird.
I’d like to make some snarky comment about it, but honestly I’m just a little freaked out by it. I don’t know why, either. I just am. It’s freaky.

Looks like a cross between Miss Saigon and The Lion King. 😛
The desert-y theme on the cover is at complete odds with the title ICE QUEEN. And the image…*shudders*
I can’t even tell the author’s name? Is it Jessica Sales or is that the name of the Character the series is based on?
I tried to learn more about it on Amazon and found this:

Which has a similar motif for the cover and is by author Thomas Deus. Strange. Very strange. The author has no website I can detect on a Google. Looks like an indulgent series that isn’t being promoted very well.
Oh, eye roll. Just noticed the author name up at the top. I was so distracted by those damn eyes, I didn’t even see the name at first.
Wonder what Thomas Deus thinks of Ms. Downs’ cover…
OMG that is just freakin weird! It looks like a cross between Black Hawk Down and Arabian Nights, doesn’t it? When I read the blurb on Goodreads it takes place in Wyoming – more like the twilight zone. WTF is totally right.
I’m beginning to look forward to your WTF Saturday covers… this one is another classic!
