In June, we’ll be kicking off our Digital First Read-a-Thon. The idea is to promote digital first publishing by reading as many books published in digital first as possible during the month of June.
Authors: We’re looking for digital authors who are looking to promote an upcoming release, talk about digital publishing or who might be willing to offer prizes (swag, ebooks, etc) for the event.
Digital Publishers: We’re looking for a catalog of Spring and Summer releases from all digital publishing houses that we can share with the participants of the event.
Bloggers: If you’re interested in helping us promote the event, or if you’d like to participate, let me know. The more people who get involved, the better.
Readers: We hope you think about joining. This is a great opportunity to try out digital reading for the first time, discover new authors, or revisit some of your old favorites.
Please email me at holly @ thebookbinge.com (no spaces) with DFRAT in the subject line if you’re interested in participating in some way.
Sounds like a good way to promote “e” but I still like a book in my hand at this point in time.

NEVER thought I'[d say this, sitting in a home-turned-library with at least 10K books around me…
BUT…Here’s what I love about e-books:
Easy to read for tired older eyes…
Easy to stack on your bookshelves (i.e., they take no space at all)…
Super easy to turn the pages…just let your finger tap the “down” key…
Easy (it takes seconds) to download without heaving your tired rump out of your chair…
If it weren’t for ebooks, I would not be a publishd author.
Give ’em a try!!
