Since I don’t live too far from LA, I figured there was no way I was going to miss RT 2011. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts (kids are so demanding, yo), I’m not going to be able to make the full conference. I’ll be arriving sometime Friday afternoon/evening (time TBD by traffic) and leaving sometime Sunday afternoon. Because I’m not sure what time I’ll be arriving or what time I’ll be leaving, I’m only registering for the day on Saturday (maybe..I’m still trying to decide). I hope to do the book signing Saturday afternoon. The So Cal Bloggers/Authors are meeting Saturday evening around 7pm in the lobby bar. I don’t have a final head-count yet, but I know Lori, Tracy, Nikki, Rowena, Renee and myself will be there.
Otherwise, I haven’t made any plans yet. I’d like to attend a few of the workshops on Saturday, but since I’ll only be there a short time and a lot of the conference stuff isn’t available to me as a one-day visitor, I’m not sure which ones (if any). I would love to meet as many of you as possible. I feel like I’ve gotten to know many of you online, and would love to be able to put a face to the name. If you’re going to be at RT next weekend and want to meet up for a drink or just say hello, that would be wonderful.

Rowena will be there Saturday also. She’s planning to do the Teen Day thing, and she’ll be with us for the So Cal Blogger Meet. If we’re lucky, we might even be able to talk her into coming Friday night…

I’m sure you guys don’t know me very well. I’m a very recent, very unaccomplished book blogger. I’ve been a reader, forever, but I just recently joined the world of book-blogging.
Anyhow, I am going to be at the RT Booklovers’ Convention as well. I am planning on going on Teen Day, but I am on call that day, so I might not be able to make it. I do have all day Saturday off, so I know I will definitely be there for that! Since I am the minority, please feel free to let me know how and where to meet up with you guys – it would be most wonderful to finally meet the phantom force behind this amazing group of people I’ve been interacting with and to put faces to all the names! 😀
