Tara, the heroine of Jill Shalvis‘ The Sweetest Thing loves to cook. In the book, she’s always whipping up awesome muffins, lunches and dinners. We were able to snag one of her secret recipes. I thought about keeping it to myself, but this is too yummy not to share.

And now I’m hungry. Thanks a lot, Jill (and Tara).
Tomorrow Jill will be here guest blogging with us and we’ll be giving away 3 copies of The Sweetest Thing. So make sure you check back.
Also, please join me in congratulating Jill on her two RITA noms! One was for Simply Irresistible! WAY TO GO JILL!!!
This book is available from Forever. You can buy it here or here in e-format.
Yea! Congrats, Jill 🙂
Congratulations, Jill!
I saw this recipe on Susan Mallery’s blog. I’m not much of a cook, but I think even I can make this casserole successfully. It sounds delicious!
Diana
I didn’t get a chance to come by here and thank you for posting this.
And trust me, if I can make this recipe and have people love it, so can anyone.
🙂
Not sure I dare have any myself, but I know my husband is going to love that… — willaful
Big congrats on the RITA noms!
I will definitely be trying this recipe – with the bacon option. Mmmm…bacon. Everything is better with bacon. 🙂
I have been wanting to make this for years and FINALLY have!!!! It was so good I’m making it for my step children tomorrow! Wasn’t sure but didn’t cook the sausage ahead of time, used parmesan and only 2 cups of milk and Dijon mustard instead of dry. Cooked it for a title longer. It was divine!
