Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Today’s Teaser comes from Fortunate Harbor by Emilie Richards page 212:
Tracy was afraid that next Henrietta was going to launch into a solo from Fiddler on the Roof. Before she did, Tracy knew she had to correct the impression that she and CJ were about to retie the old knot, because the only knot she wanted to tie anywhere in her ex’s vicinity was a noose.
Ha! I love her. LOL
Oh dear. It doesn't sound like things ended well there…but the Fiddler solo sounds promising. Nice teaser!

I'm confused – when did you and CJ date? 😉
I have read one of her books before, but it's been a while. Will mark it down!

Tam – I know! lol
All great teasers guys!
Chris – Aren't you funny? It was before I met you. 🙂

Mine is here.
Oh, that is a brilliant comment. I almost want to read the book just from that!
I'm 15 pages from the end of On the Edge (Ilona Andrews). Here's my quote:
'KNIFE. Knife. Knife. Knife. Jack crawled through the grass like a fluffy caterpillar.'

Orannia – I really liked that book. It was just a little off the beaten path of normal enough for me to really get into it. I was worried it would be too sci-fi-ish but it wasn't. Hope you're enjoying it.
